d. Make sure both MSI Center SDK & MSI Center is removed
e. Re-install MSI Center from scratch again
  • How to install Dragon Center/Creator Center if I have already installed MSI Center?
Why do you want to do that? But if you insist on making the “wrong decision”,
    • 1. Follow the steps above to uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK.
    • 2. Search for MSI Dragon Center/MSI Creator Center in Microsoft Store to install Dragon Center/Creator Center.
    • 3. Waiting for the installation to complete.
  • Why does Dragon Center ask to uninstall MSI Center SDK before installing?

  • This is what you get for not liking MSI Center, but you can fix it by opening command prompt and type “reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI” and enter “yes” after.
    Note.
Make sure no MSI Center registry key left in the specific path

you could retrieve the old version using this method,

install with powershell (admin),
Add-AppxPackage -Path "Path-to-File"
"Path-to-File" = where you save the appxbundle file
see if it works for you.
I can't download the appxbundle file from your link

I have 2.0.15

thank you, I downloaded it, but it still has many errors like version 2.0.16.0, it still forces me to use the local administrator account, and it still loses the features. Before, my computer works normally with msi center, I still update it and it's fine. Few days ago my computer crashed and i had to reinstall windows, and reinstall all the apps. When I reinstall msi center, I was forced to use the local administrator account and lost the features until now. Now I have deleted it and am looking for a solution.

Hello,

I amy have found a solution: you need to start the MSI services using your current admin account (Microsoft account typically).
Press the Win key, search Services, and set the account for the 3 MSI services, and then reboot. Worked for me.
To set the account, double-click the service in the list, go to the Connection tab, select "This account", click Browse and enter your account email and Verify, then enter the account password.

Can you try remove the app (with MSI tool) and install 2.0.16.0 MSI Center via microsoft store again?
If it's not helping after you roll back, perhaps try scan in LiveUpdate\Advanced and see if there's any firmware update available.

After recently updating bios my RGB lights are flickering and msi center asked me to update MB LED, however there is no update and not sure how to fix. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. Below is my system info.

Thank you for your reply. I tried to update it however, it can not find the device. it gives me "connect to device fail"
Are the RGB lights third party and not MSI? If so I'd look on the vendor website for them and get an updated driver.

You're right that the support page for the MB shows no such update. Kind of odd.

I accidentilly clicked norton 360 along time ago and never downloaded or activated. I figured it would go away but its been a long time and its still there. Is there a way to correct my error in the live update?

It'll never go away until you download and install it. Just keep it uncheck whenever you scan for driver, there is no error here.
