d. Make sure both MSI Center SDK & MSI Center is removed
e. Re-install MSI Center from scratch again
  • How to install Dragon Center/Creator Center if I have already installed MSI Center?
Why do you want to do that? But if you insist on making the “wrong decision”,
    • 1. Follow the steps above to uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK.
    • 2. Search for MSI Dragon Center/MSI Creator Center in Microsoft Store to install Dragon Center/Creator Center.
    • 3. Waiting for the installation to complete.
  • Why does Dragon Center ask to uninstall MSI Center SDK before installing?

  • This is what you get for not liking MSI Center, but you can fix it by opening command prompt and type “reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI” and enter “yes” after.
    Note.
Make sure no MSI Center registry key left in the specific path

Frankly speaking, Mystic light has been buggy lately. Once or two a week when I start my PC, all of a sudden all the RGB-lights are off even though MSI Center launches on start. I manage to fix it by opening Mystic Light and forcefully applying all the lights set before again by hitting the apply or the rescan buttons every time. I still have a lights firmware update hanging in MSI Center advanced updates but I'm afraid the lights will stop working at all if I install it... Too many bugs so far.
And once again, the promised fix for the Cooling wizard not starting with the OS hasn't been introduced yet. I open it and after each system start to make it work. Bummer

I also have a big problem with the latest MSI Center 2.0.48.0 update and the Mystic Light 3.0.16.4 update
Basically it no longer sees the ACE X570 motherboard
Does anyone have the same problem as me??
Even from the login I no longer see the image of the motherboard but only that of the video card.
I tried everything and it's been a long time since I had problems with Mystic Light.
I had to unplug all 9 fans and the gpu support.
It recognizes the video card and the RAM but not the motherboard

yeah, suddenly on my Z690 Godlike, cant start mystic light! App is installed, but when i click on it to start, it wont start, it just linked to the update page -.-
did an fresh install of msi center, changed to 2nd BIOS, kept the PC for ~ 10min without power, nothing helps -.- LED´s still working, also the M-Vision Dashboard and the Watercooler Display. But who knows for how long :-(

After an update today, my MSI Z590 Gaming Carbon Wifi Motherboard is no longer detected by Mystic light. My gaming x trio MSI 3060TI GPU is still detected.

Tried multiple times installing and uninstalling but it just will not work.

It was working perfectly before it updated this morning.

Hope we can find a solution to this. Before this evening never had an issue with it.

Borked for me as well. Clicking on Mystic Light's "Open" button takes me to the "Live Update" tab.

MSI Center v2.0.48.0
Mystic Light v3.0.16.4
Came to this forum to complain about this, I made the tragic mistake of updating "mystic light" which was working perfectly fine and now I can't use it, not even updating rgb firmware and clearing cmos helped, uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, nothing helped, mystic light still refuses to open, nothing to do but wait for an update I guess, really tragic, I just wanna change my argb brightness ffs, please fix this

Please make sure your system is connected to the internet, and reboot your system. MSI says they fixed the issue with software not detecting things properly. Let us know if things still don't work.

It worked, thanks! I contacted support before the new update and it was also this recommendation. I was already going crazy!

Same thing here :E happened to me yesterday at 11pm and instead of going to sleep I was pulling out all the wires and cables in search for any sort of damage, short or anything in that aspect. Updated FW for my LEDs, tried OPENrgb which works to a degree but is a bit retarded for the long run.
It's the first for me, my LEDs have always been fine, up until yesterday.
B550 MPG btw.
Will check today evening if that works.

Hello everyone update my post.
Yesterday after 4 attempts with MSI Center and Mystic Light without success from despair I installed SINGAL RGB and everything worked perfectly.
Today after returning from work I started the PC uninstalled SIGNAL RGB with Revo Uninstaller, I restarted the PC, restarted the router, downloaded again version 2.0.48.0 I successfully installed motherboard again present
What a strange thing that happened was that I had no such problems having the ACE X570 since 2020

For me and a few others mystic light won't even open... its taking me straight to the "support" page to check for drivers when I click open, after a short loading screen, it was working just fine on an older version, still regretting the update I made to it...

Possibly a reinstall can help. MSI's hardware is much better than software, so if all fails then a reinstallation /might/.

I was gonna post that I've tried already and it didn't work, but I just did it one more time and it actually opened it and detected my motherboard, first I used the cleaner tool, after the reboot I went into C deleted the MSI folder there, then the MSI one in program files (x86), then installed center from microsoft store directly, and installed mystic light, it actually worked, for now anyways... thanks

At least you didn't have to sacrifice a puppy to get it to work 😂 I hope it'll be fine now.

I've been using the FROZR AI Cooling function in 'Silent' mode and recently, when I start my PC, the MSI Center fails to load the fan curves. Instead, all I see in the app are static numbers. This issue happens randomly, and if I restart the PC, the software starts working again. Has anyone else experienced this problem? My motherboard is a MAG Z690 Tomahawk WiFi DDR4. Thanks!
