How to re-install MSI Center?

2. Follow steps below

b. Uninstall MSI Center SDK

d. Make sure both MSI Center SDK & MSI Center is removed
e. Re-install MSI Center from scratch again
  • How to install Dragon Center/Creator Center if I have already installed MSI Center?
Why do you want to do that? But if you insist on making the “wrong decision”,
    • 1. Follow the steps above to uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK.
    • 2. Search for MSI Dragon Center/MSI Creator Center in Microsoft Store to install Dragon Center/Creator Center.
    • 3. Waiting for the installation to complete.
  • Why does Dragon Center ask to uninstall MSI Center SDK before installing?

  • This is what you get for not liking MSI Center, but you can fix it by opening command prompt and type “reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI” and enter “yes” after.
    Note.
Make sure no MSI Center registry key left in the specific path

The new MSI center 2.0.48.0 has some features missing. I cant see "devices speedup" and "super charger" can anyone help me how to get them back please. I use MSI Z790 Carbon Wifi motherboard.

This garbage of software who ever created it I hope he burns in F hell!! wont install, then install, then won't start, then hangs in SDK then starts then wont again go F yourself with this CRAP MSI! I I I did every known possible cleaning method including the MSI CLEANING TOOL but no that crap just won't work or install what's the point??? I hope I find as third-party software to control the RGB as this crap is of no use, UTTER GARBAGE!
msi MPG X870E Carbon F-in WIFI +9800X3D, clean installed Windows 11 Pro

Hello, now that latest iGPU arrow lake driver fixed the wmi host 2% issue I can see that Win+G menu MSI companion also takes around 1% of WMI host. Please fix it. Unistalled it in MSI center for now
Latest MSI Center.

this may be the most bloated, most useless support software. nothing works correctly. too long install times, too many sub applications installed. usually fails or stalls when installing. msi really sucks at hardware/software support.

most bloated, most useless one of its kind. installing takes forever, unistalling takes forever. opening takes forever. total failure. if third party rgb and fan controllers were worked, that would be enough. but somehow they do not work with my x870

hey msi!!!! HOW LONG should I F WAIT this time ????? tomorrow, week a month maybe??? Get your [***CENSORED***] together!
PATHETIC!!!

With this wallpaper you deserve to wait ;)
And if you waited 24 hours..
Kill the process, reboot your system and wipe MSI Center. And retry. It's a piece of software, it works on my laptop and MSI Claw. n.b. I don't use it on my desktop.

What is wrong with the wallpaper? I absolutely like my Alienware AW3423DW, and the wallpapers shuffle every 10 minutes with different component manufacturers currently in use in my system. However, I have a second system, Z790 ACE +14900K, and on this system, the same software works trouble-free, unlike on X870E Carbon Wifi and 9800X3D. So, what clever comment can I get now?

2.0.52.0: I can't select the CPU frequency anymore (which I didn't have before the update with 2.0.50.0)
(-60+ is only gray and also on the left the selection for P+E cores is missing)
although in software control mode, the CPU and fan are turned on.

Workaround so far:
2.0.52.0 APP uninstalled,
MSI folder in Program Files (x86) + ProgramData + AppData deleted,
with MSI-Center uninstaller tool the rest,
Computer rebooted, 2.052.0 reinstalled, rebooted, both errors still there.

My system: W11pro (all MS-updates), MAG Z790 Tomahawk WIFI, BIOS 7D91vHF

I'm grateful for every tip. Bernhard

@happylei15af02eb
FYI:
This is a Win11 limitation. (For Win10 this is not issue)
To have control in MSI Center\User Scenario,
[CPU Under Voltage Protection] option need to be Enabled in BIOS Setup.

If you use older MSI Center version, it can be adjusted but in reality it has no effect.
And this is fixed in the 2.0.52.0, removed that option since it has no effect when [CPU Under Voltage Protection] option is Disabled.

Bugs Report - MSI Z790 CARBON WIFI
1:
I also can confirm the new update of MSI Center v2.0.52.0 breaks UI and not scaling with windows UI. The screenshot is attached for your reference!
2: Also, the main stats page of MSI Center v2.0.52.0 is displaying Re-BAR as being disabled which is enabled as per the Nvidia Control Panel. This happens when I enable IGPU from bios but when the IGPU is disabled from bios MSI Center Displays Re-BAR as enabled. The previous version didn't have this bug! The screenshot is attached for your reference!
  1. Missing Features - MSI Z790 CARBON WIFI
    1:
The new MSI center 2.0.52.0 has some features missing. I can't see "devices speedup" and "super charger" The devices speed up was very useful as it boosted USB and Storage speeds.
  2. 2: Before I used to get storage status message "Direct Storage Supported" above nvme drives in System Diagnostics sub feature which after devices speedup removal is no longer appearing.

Please, add / bring back missing features because other fellows found them useful too i.e. "super charger"

For that one, see here:
The resizing problem is currently a limitation of MSI Center to comply with Microsoft Windows App guideline based on current UI architecture.
The new UI behavior starts from MSI Center v2.0.52.0.
