e. Re-install MSI Center from scratch again
  • How to install Dragon Center/Creator Center if I have already installed MSI Center?
Why do you want to do that? But if you insist on making the “wrong decision”,
    • 1. Follow the steps above to uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK.
    • 2. Search for MSI Dragon Center/MSI Creator Center in Microsoft Store to install Dragon Center/Creator Center.
    • 3. Waiting for the installation to complete.
  • Why does Dragon Center ask to uninstall MSI Center SDK before installing?

  • This is what you get for not liking MSI Center, but you can fix it by opening command prompt and type “reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI” and enter “yes” after.
    Note.
Make sure no MSI Center registry key left in the specific path

2.0.62 Smart Image Finder freeze after startup Center ( I scaned about 50k images before).

Now I can`t start Center normally, after restart it open SIF at first and freeze it on "Loading image"..

Me and literally 1.5 billion of registered users and more if you calculate the pirated one way more than Linux, just a fact.
True. Linux Is still some niche system. The market share may be growing bit by bit. But it has its downsides.
On Reddit often a user comes with a Windows problem and the first answer is:
Use Linux.
And this is wrong in every way. I say this even though Linux has been my main system for years.

For those with MSI PSUs, especially newer models like the AI1300P with monitoring capability, and using MSI Center, you might notice the power-saving feature doesn’t work or the screen saver won’t activate. It seems the PSU monitoring data polling is so aggressive that the system never enters power-saving mode or triggers related features, including the screen saver. After a month of back-and-forth with MSI Support, they couldn’t resolve the issue and seemed to miss the core problem. The workaround I found never suggested by tech support is to use Xportal, MSI’s web-based RGB control. I don’t bother with MSI Center’s AI features anyway, and all necessary monitoring, including PSU stats, can be handled through HWinfo. I’ve ditched the buggy, useless MSI Center for good.

B450 Tomahawk MAX, 5800X3D, Corsair Vengeance LPX non RGB RAM (this part is important), MSI Center 2.0.55.0, Mystic Light 3.0.21.4.

After upgrading MSI Center and Mystic Light today my RAM is showing up as "CORSAIRX86 RGB" in Mystic Light. This is obviously not the case. Broken again! (insert sigh here)
Yes, I've rebooted my PC. Yes, I used the uninstall tool and reinstalled everything again with the same results. Yes, and yes, and yes. Keep in mind I've had this motherboard since it was new. I am NOT new to MSI software being buggy.
It would be great if when MSI Center and Mystic Light updates it only updates required files that are necessary for a specific system. The B450 Tomahawk Max was released September 2019. Other than maybe BIOS updates do these apps really require updating for such an old platform? Leave well enough alone!
I usually install updates by downloading the MSI Center app directly from the support page for my motherboard. Unfortunately the Microsoft Store beat me to it even though I had disabled updates for it. It turned it back on without notifying me or asking for my permission. Frustrating!
Hey I also have this issue with my Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM on my MAG Tomahawk Z790 WiFi motherboard. I have had it since around the time this reply was made (and a little earlier) and despite all the updates still then I still have it. This of course means that I don't have all the RGB options I used to use, such as rainbow, forcing me to use iCUE. Any solutions?

It's been acting the same way since I built my new PC, so I'm not worrying about it anymore... iCUE "dragging" the settings to itself and MSI Center not allowing any interference. Even though I have some MSI plugin installed in iCUE. But... MSI settings (even though they are very reduced, just like yours) are applied when my screen turns off after a while, as I have it preset in Windows. After waking up the screen, however, the colors work according to the settings in iCUE again. I don't have any sleep settings enabled for the system, and I don't use hibernation at all.

I'm using the same RAM but I can use RGB effects without needing the icue software. Therefore, first you have to unistall icue software then restart the system and make sure the "corsair device control serive" is also gone and it is not visible in task manager. Secondly, install the signal rgb which is also suported by mystic lights in MSI Center, that will reinstall the corsaire device control service which is what you need to control rgb effects either via mystic lights or via signal rgb.

Keep in mind you can you one of them at a time not both because of conflicting resources. GOOD LUCK :)
