  • How to install Dragon Center/Creator Center if I have already installed MSI Center?
Why do you want to do that? But if you insist on making the “wrong decision”,
    • 1. Follow the steps above to uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK.
    • 2. Search for MSI Dragon Center/MSI Creator Center in Microsoft Store to install Dragon Center/Creator Center.
    • 3. Waiting for the installation to complete.
  • Why does Dragon Center ask to uninstall MSI Center SDK before installing?

  • This is what you get for not liking MSI Center, but you can fix it by opening command prompt and type “reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI” and enter “yes” after.
    Note.
Make sure no MSI Center registry key left in the specific path

Is there a reason why this software constantly uses 5% of my CPU (CC Engine)?
I’d recommend uninstalling and reinstalling it; when you do, look for a folder named "pushcast"—or something similar—in `C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\MSI Center` and delete it. That folder keeps downloading new versions and messing up the parts that are working fine.

Also, if by some miracle you ever achieve stability, NEVER UPDATE MSI CENTER AGAIN!

My MSI Center is on version 2.0.68 and my Mystic Light is on a really old version, but it works.

Installed MSI Center and Mystic Light to control RGB lighting on my MSI MAG x87oe WIFI motherboard. Was working yesterday. Today at boot, no lighting and Mystic Light apparently has no control over anything. Hpowevber, if I put the PC into Sleep mode and then wake it, the lights come on. What the heck is going on with this app?

Hmmmm, yes, I had a similar issue with MSI Center, and I got a BIOS update that fixed the glitch... so to speak. hehe.

But now... what is this very RED message all about? lol

OT: I'm still stuck on version 2.0.71... Up until then, updates were always offered (though with a huge delay after release). Now it's been months with nothing...

I just installed an MSI MPG Carbon Wi-Fi with a freezer cooling system - not so very impressed having to print the manual and with quality of instructions. Then to read on-line the lengthy BIOS manual which leaves many questions unanswered. But I digress.
MSI Center........ has anyone read the disclaimer section.
Apparently, they can do whatever they want with the information they collect with no options to us. I don't actually know anything much about the SW, since even if I wanted to (I don't) there is no way to say yes. The check box can't be checked, so I can't enter the SW.:(

2.0.74 now available in Windows Store update

To avoid install glitches I always do these steps

Let Windows Store update complete
Start MSI Center but select Skip not Update
Switch off 'Start MSI Center automatically when system starts' option
Sign-Out/In / Restart
Start MSI Center and select Update
Switch 'Start MSI Center automatically when system starts' back on

OK thanks, but the real issue is that I'm not sure I want to use MSI center if I have to accept the conditions of access and use of customer data. I have never seen a document demanding such access before. Did you read it before accepting it?
I think its possible to access updates manually and may decide to do that.

Have you read Micro$oft's terms of use for Windows? MSI, Asus etc are just drop in the ocean compared to M$ 🙈
