e. Re-install MSI Center from scratch again
  • How to install Dragon Center/Creator Center if I have already installed MSI Center?
Why do you want to do that? But if you insist on making the “wrong decision”,
    • 1. Follow the steps above to uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK.
    • 2. Search for MSI Dragon Center/MSI Creator Center in Microsoft Store to install Dragon Center/Creator Center.
    • 3. Waiting for the installation to complete.
  • Why does Dragon Center ask to uninstall MSI Center SDK before installing?
    1620215129484.png
  • This is what you get for not liking MSI Center, but you can fix it by opening command prompt and type “reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI” and enter “yes” after.
    Note.
Make sure no MSI Center registry key left in the specific path

i have just got my new motherboard, z590 msi gaming edge wifi. everything works but the lights do flicker once maybe every few hours or more.

updated the bios to latest to see if that has fixed the problem but it hasnt.

i have also found this website:

it does say on there that there are some known flickering with some of the msi boards.

I'm currently unable to install any modules for MSI Center, they just sit there (Mystic Light for example) saying "wait download" and nothing happens and the app becomes mostly unresponsive.

Hey everyone, since my MSI Center updated itself to version 1.0.31.0 it won't come up anymore, the installation stops with the attached message.

The problem is that there is no UAC dialog popping up at this point. Of course there is the one that shows up right after starting the .exe (where I always select 'Yes' ofc), after which the installation window with the loading bar is shown and some things/scripts in the background happen (like in the previous version 1.0.27.0). But in contrast to the previous version MSI center does not come up after loading is finished but only throws the attached message.

What I tried:
- Clean Uninstall of MSI Center and SDK as described in this post with the provided uninstalling-Tool: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?...your-software-–-msi-center-bug-status.362779/
- Manual removal of MSI Center and SDK in "apps & features"
- Reboot and clean installation of the official MSI Center_1.0.31.0.exe from here: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/MAG-B550-TOMAHAWK#down-driver&Win10 64

But it all leads to the same point. Has anyone ideas and could help me out?

I'm going to install version 1.0.27.0. now again to get the FROZR AI Cooling module installed because otherwise my system fans would be running at full speed all the time.

Thanks in advance.

honestly speaking, MSI center or any other similar app wont' work well in user account but only admin account. Can you just install MSI Center in admin account and use it? seems you're trying to control everything in user account.

Hey, thanks for the fast response. Actually my account is an admin account on this machine and I run every application as admin. I even tried to force all MSI Center-related executables to be run as admin by setting the corresponding options in the file attributes menu, but it did not work. Version 1.0.27.0 of MSI Center in comparison works like a charm.

I just had a bunch of DLL failures after the auto-updater did it's thing. A reboot and reinstall of Mystic light (every time anything updates) and everything seems to be back where it belongs.

Have you tried playing with the UAC settings? I have mine turned off and had no issue. If yours is on, recommend turning off for the install, if its already off, try the uninstall reboot and then change the uac temporarily before attempting your install.

Yep, good point. In fact my first thought seeing this message was enabling the UAC, because I had turned it off right after the OS installation as well. That's why I went quite the other way and activated the UAC completely, uninstalled MSI Center and gave it another try with UAC. But sadly no other behaviour.

I'm fine atm with the 1.0.27.0, but will keep those tips in mind when the next update is released. Thank you all!

Someone have in ambient link FC6 support?

I have latest Mystic in msi center 1.0.31.0:

Known Issue: MSI Center\Mystic Light is Unable to detect MSI Z690 Motherboard
Solution: MSI Center 1.0.34.0 (Download Link)
Side note. (MSI Center 1.0.34.0)
Do not use "Mixer" LED effect for now since it requires further fine tuned. (Could unintentionally disable JRAINBOW/JCORSAIR if you try to use it)
In case JRAINBOW/JCORSAIR is disabled, switch PSU off on on again to fix the problem and avoid using Mixer effect temporarily.

MSI is working on solution!

Yep, 07. There is no other RGB software. Clean installed Windows 21H1. But Windows does not affect. I went into the BIOS and after 10 minutes the light turned on by itself. Tried resetting CMOS - didnt work. Here I recorded a video . This and in BIOS itself happens at 04:25. And on Windows the time is 35:10.

I have the same issue, did you fixed this somehow?

Sorry but the new driver is not good.
I have connected everything to the sata and jrainbow plugs of the motherboard
I did download the latest version of msi center.

However after having pressed 3sc and even after having rebooted the pc I have an error message (see attached image) telling me that the firmware of the motherboard is abnormal.
I am invited to download the Led firmware from the live support. however there is no file of this name proposed (photo attached)

What should I do ?

What motherboard do you have?

^ Same, I've installed MSI Centre 1.0.34.0 and it fails to detect my z690 Carbon WiFi board. Finds the GPU ok though.

Hey, no! I got the same problem. I asked Ubi and they had not heard from other people having the same issue.
I updated Gaming Mode (to 3.2021.1014.01) and Mystic Light (to 2.0.0.25) today. In Gaming Mode (different app in msi center) Far Cry 6 now shows up, also shows support for Mystic Light
However I'm seeing the same as you do. Ubi said to contact MSI. Did you find a fix yet?

I've updated the thread on the Ubisoft forum. It seems that with the Gaming mode version that i mentioned and installed today, that Mystic Light works withf FC6.
It still doesn't show up in Mystic Light, but the game itself now does all the RGB stuff that I'm expecting.
You could try that yourself I guess. Make sure that FC6 shows up in Gaming Mode app, have it turned on and then just start FC6 and start playing.
