Will installing this MSI Center repair the damage that installing Dragon Center caused? I was only recently, after extensive internet research, able to disable the Nahimic Virus that Dragon Center infected my system with. I will NEVER buy another MSI product, until they address, and rectify, the wise spread problems they have caused their customers by forcing Nahimic down their throats!!! Anyone who has installed the god awful Dragon Center knows EXACTLY what I am talking about. You should not have to buy a special uninstaller just to eliminate a unwanted program/virus that a manufacturer sneaks onto your computer without asking.

I gave it a shot but it says that the language can't be translated on installing, can't even use the "new" software

What happened to the RAM tweaking options that were in Dragon Center? There is only RAM info only..
Features -> Customize in MSI Center. Trident 3 can't change RAM options in BIOS, so must use this tool..
So much for better updated " more unique features" experience with MSI Center.. it's simply Dragon Center ripped apart and missing features!
Will you add this to MSI Center? Otherwise I'll just go back to Dragon Center.. Changing the Command Rate on my RAM on my other Trident 3 helped.
Would be nice if BIOS wasn't so extremely limited on the Trident 3.. It's kinda sad.

This software is slow and buggy, I have to re-install it every time I want to do anything with Mystic Light. Just implement the plugin to make the RGB work with Asus Armoury Crate like Corsair did, then we can all use an app that actually works.

MSI Center Feature - Graphics Fan Tool
Zero Frozr

Enable (Default): Recommend for average users
When system is at idle, fan duty will remain at 0% to minimize the noise from graphics card. Fans start to cool GPU down when GPU temperature passes zero frozr temperature threshold (45 to 60 degree C based on different models).
Disable: Recommend for hardcore gamer or graphics heavy user*
Fan will constantly cool GPU down by applying minimum fan speed (~40%).

When GPU temperature rises, MSI Center will apply more aggressive fan curve.**
- Pros: Expected to reduce GPU temperature by 4 to 7 degree Celsius under load comparing to Zero Frozr enable mode
- Cons: GPU fan will spin at all time

Final fan curve varied by different graphics card model

Figure 1. GPU Temperature Comparison (Zero Frozr ON vs OFF)
1630406326801.png

Figure 2. GPU Fan Curve Comparison (Zero Frozr ON vs OFF)
* Zero Frozr is disabled automatically when MSI Center "Gaming Mode" activates
** Aggressive Fan Mode is available for graphics cards using GDDR6X VRAM. Find details in product specifications page\memory section

Figure 3. Memory Type

Cooler Boost
Powerful cooling mode that applies maximum fan duty for 30 seconds to bring down the GPU temperature instantly. You can only enable Cooler Boost once every 5 minutes.

Optional Fan Duty Change Method
Afterburner
1630405964184.png

  • 1. DO NOT disable Zero Frozr when applying customized fan curve in afterburner
  • 2. Zero Frozr function will automatically disable when using customized fan curve
  • 3. DO NOT set fan % lower than minimum fan % (bottom yellow line)

That looks nice. But MSI Dragon Center fails to download even after removing MSI SDK and rebooting.

Unless it now does RAM timings changes I'm not interested. I tried it some months back and Dragon Center still appeared more featurely rich..
So wtf a "successor" to Dragon Center? NOPE. You don't REMOVE features and call it a successor. HARD PASS.

Can i download any older version of MSI Center? All new releases have compatibility issue with AMD Adrenalin 2020 software. Is there any archive? Wanted to test out all versions from 1.0.20.0 (and give you a hint, where issue was not present).

So I have an RTX 4090 Gaming Trio 24G (not the 'X' version). MSI Center says there is a VGA BIOS update to 232 and current is 230.

GPU-Z says current BIOS is 230.

Card is in silent mode.

These are the available VBIOS for my card:

I do not have the 93% Power Limit issue. Should I upgrade or not bother?

Another question is why does msi make such a bad program and reinvent it over and over. command center, dragon center, msi center. it appears the "wrong decision" at this point is thinking it will ever have basic functionality. It's less bloat than armourcrate though i'll grant you that

With the latest update, now MSI Center doesn't remember my last RGB setting anymore, I have to re-apply every time my PC start. How do I roll back to previous version?
