I removed the raided drives it came with, and disabled Intel VMD in the BIOS. I couldn't see where to change SSD's to AHCI?
Then populated it with 3 x 8TB PCIe 4.0x4 SSD's and for my main drive a Samsung 9100 Pro 8TB PCIe 5.0x4 SSD.
Running Windows 11 25H2, and BIOS updated to E1824IMS.11B...
All the SSD's are running 16-25% below their normal speeds, with the Samsung 9100 Pro performing worst. There is no overheating, and they are not throttling! Any ideas folks?

A few quick things to check:
1. Check actual speed (CrystalDiskInfo / Samsung Magician), compare to the spec of the SSDs.
2. Slot placement matters: Make sure the 9100 Pro is in the correct Gen 5 SSD slot.
3. If the speed before is up to 18000ME/s, it may refer to the super raid.

ANSWER - Now I feel stupid, and must apologise!

Bitlocker!!! Turning this off on my Samsung 9100 Pro 8TB PCIe 5.0x4 SSD C: drive, after Windows generously, silently, installed it, meant that...

Read IOP's improved by 6.27x

Write IOP's improved by 3.48x

Write speeds improved by 38%

Doh!!!
