Hi, I just bought the laptop and screen color on my Titan GT77 is washing out as soon as Windows is started for the first time. When Windows starts at first time, colors are very alive, vibrant, crisp but soon they are washed out and becoming too white. I tried changing to different profiles in MSI True color and whitening, washing out remains same. I tried uninstalling MSI True color and it didn't help. I tried resetting PC multiple times and same thing happens every time.

I searched Internet and there are some pointers on HDR and latest Windows 11 updates. The Laptop screen doesn't support HDR and I even tried resetting and first time configuration without Internet to avoid Windows 11 to update and it didn't fix the problem. Here is the video, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mBwzC3_O2UIYq4l1fZoIZmLw3gzktRaG/view?usp=sharing for the color problem, this washout and whitening happens after 10s in the video. Any help is appreciated.

I have the same issue. It is related the "MSHybrid graphic mode". Open the MSI Center. Under Features and General Settings you will see GPU Switch. Change it to "Discrete Graphics Mode". This will restore the vibrant colors. However, this is only a quick fix. The attachment shows what needs to be done to completely fix the issue, though I am hesitant to try it.

Upgrade the True Color to the latest version, and reinstall the iGPU driver with the DDU tool.

Interestingly, I also got a message on my laptop from MSI related to washed out color and the message was referring to steps mentioned in the guide you have shared. I followed all steps and it has solved the problem.
