First post here.. Uhm today i noticed framedrops when i played WOW, and then i rebooted my pc because i updated my graphichs driver. And on boot its said my CPU temp was way to high with WARNING etc. I got into hardware monitor and i see my cpu package is 95 degrees with red lining and all. I open my pc and touch the cpu, and it was little warm to the touch, but ive felt it once thermal throttle (when i build the system, forgot to plug in the aio xd) and it was so hot i couldnt touch it. But yeah its only the TMPIN7 temp thats the issue it seems, its always the same as the package temp. The picture i attached was 1 min with cinebench r23, and when the package was 95 degress, i touched the cpu under the AIO and it was like as hot as touching your arm or hands. Im not the biggest pc guy, i also had friend help me build my pc, but i really need some help.
Specs is

Msi tomahawk x570 wifi MB
Ryzen 5600x
MSI mastercooler 240 aio

rest i dont really think is needed for this issue.

if you have a spare or inbox CPU cooler you could try it on your system to rule out AIO hardware failure

It's not the first time that 3rd party software could give false reading.
Touching is definitely not a good way to determine whether CPU overheat or not since the heat goes away really fast, it prob cools down before you remove the cooler (or you have no cooler attached :bonk: )
Do you observe any throttling during the benchmark? Maybe check with Ryzen Master?

it looks like TMPIN7 is copying CPU temp. can you compare the TMPIN7 temp with Ryzen Master CPU temp when running Cinebench to make sure?
