I want to update the bios on my Tomahawk B350. As far as I know it is still running the version it came with. The current bios is E7A34AMS version VM dated 4/10/17.
I have downloaded the two most recent versions of E7A34AMS (E7A34AMS.1QB and E7S34AMS.1QC). They are extracted and on a formatted flash drive. When I go into flash mode, it can't find either file. What am I doing wrong?

Please state the full name of the BIOS on the main BIOS screen (after "BIOS Ver.:"). Because it looks like there is something not quite matching up here.
The BIOS name, everything before the dot, and the first character after, have to match with your installed BIOS.

You're welcome, glad to help!
Hi Citay, wondering if you could help me too. My current bios version is E7B36AMS.110

I can NOT for the life of me find any bios versions on the support page of the B350 Tomahawk Plus (same page as the normal B350 Tomahawk I believe?) for this.

Maybe you can find a compatible newer one?

The B350 TOMAHAWK PLUS should be the correct model. Your BIOS version corresponds to 7B36v11 on the website: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B350-TOMAHAWK-PLUS/support

Now, you have to be slightly careful if you run a very old CPU (pre-Ryzen) on there, they removed support for those in some version. Those are A-Series/Athlon. But any Ryzen will be supported on the latest BIOS still. You can just flash the very latest one 7B36v1G7(Beta version), at your own risk. The main risk on these older boards seems to be when you have a really old/bad PSU model, which can cause the flashing to go wrong. So i would check that the PSU is still good to use, if you name your model i can give you an opinion on that.
