I am facing this issue with my 2 days old Claw.. just out of sudden touch screen stop responding to any touch.

Tried holding power button 30sec to force shutdown..it is working after power up again.. but later stopped working again after putting to sleep.. wth

I’m having the same problem, Running bios 108 , center M 0603 Driver 5445 touch screen starts working again if I roll driver back to 5382 but stops working soon after a couple restarts

You can enter BIOS mode to check. It can help you to figure out the problem is caused by hardware or software first.

When in factory / windows reset mode or in Bios the touch screen works perfectly.. so far I did a factory reset reinstall of windows with all the updates 109 bios, latest center m update ,5522 driver and still have the touch screen not working sometimes
After multiple restarts it will work perfectly and stay working till I power off
It may or may not work on first start after power down but usually can get it going after a few restarts ( kind of acts like the finger print reader and cursor works on boot or it just doesn’t)

You can check if HID-compliant touch pad device is disappear while having the issue.

If it is not the case, try to reinstall the below driver.
Intel Serial IO Driver -> https://download.msi.com/nb_drivers/tp/IntelSerialIO_WW39_30.100.2318.58_0x2fad729d.zip

Hi Rob thanks for the help
Device manager shows both touch screen and pad as working properly, tried disabling device, uninstalling device restarting, updating both drivers restarting and still have the same problem
If I use the hibernate mode it works fine every time . Power off gives me problems getting it back working 2 or 3 restarts
Thanks again

I'm having the same issue. It makes starting up a total pain as I have to use the accessibility keyboard just to be able to enter the PIN.

Just phoned service so figure I'd share. Here are 3 things you could try before sending it in to service centers.

1. EC reset (by holding down power button for 25+ seconds)
2. Check if Intel serio I/O driver has been installed/up to date. Could also try unistal and manually re-download from product page.
3. Check Device Manager to see if "HID-compliant touchpad device" is detected and enabled.

These should help resolve/rule out most malfunction caused by software conflict or incorrect config.

If none of these work... it's still better to send it in for inspection.

In this case, you can submit the ticket for further support.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I've had my Claw A1M for several months but it just started not responding after a recent restart. Works perfectly fine in BIOS.
