The motherboard here is a MSI 760GMA-P34 (FX). The CPU processing is from an AMD FX-8320 Eight Core 3.5 GHz. Windows Version is 22h2 and OS build 19045. The issue started by the October Win10 shutdown, getting update with a better visual and safer experience while using the PC.
I bought a TPM module. Placed the module on the motherboard pins with a perfect fit. I restarted the desktop PC and pressed DEL to enter BIOS. I switched to Advanced BIOS to see that TPM has no option to choose. The would be an option because the option is grayed with the words 'NO'.
I went to MSI support page according to the 760GMA-P34 details. I downloaded some drivers, especially the TPM Driver. After downloading the folder, I install one of the files. Went to WIN+R to run tpm.msc and Windows says TPM is not installed.
What do I need to do after placing the TPM module on the board; and view the device security setting from Windows Security.
How can this board enable the TPM in BIOS? I got about 5 days to return this TPM if I don't need it because of boards legacy issue.
