Hi. I'm currently looking to upgrade from my 2600X to a 5600X, so I need to download a newer BIOS. Problem is when I get to the version I want to download ( 7C52v2B.zip ), I get "NOT FOUND". I have tried Firefox, Chrome and *shudders* Edge, with no luck.

My mobo is an A320M-A PRO MAX.
The URL of the page I'm trying to download from is: https://latam.msi.com/Motherboard/A320M-A-PRO-MAX/support#cpu
The URL of the link that isn't found is: https://download.msi.com/bos_exe/mb/7C52v2B.zip

If anyone knows how to get to the download, I'd appreciate your help.

Thanks!!

Hi Alan, I apologise, I have an MSI 1650 Ventus, but will be upgrading to a 3060 or 6600XT later this year. Here's the rest of the build:

Board: A320M-A PRO MAX
VGA: MSI 1650 Ventus
PSU: BeQuiet Pure Power 10 550W
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
MEM: 2x16Gb Kingston HyperX Fury 2666mhz
HDD/SSD: HDD 2TB WD Green. SSD 250Gb Kingston SSDNow. SSD 480Gb Kingston SSDNow A400
COOLER: BeQuiet Pure Rock 2
MOUSE/KB: Logitech wireless keyboard/trackpad combo.
OC: None
OS: Windows 10 64bit Professional

Thank you for your amazingly quick answer! I gather that the v2C1 version you linked will be compatible with my current MSI 1650 Ventus and with a future card.

Thanks again.

Yep should be fine is GOP UEFI on that one so your good to go and I would say the BIOS is the fixed one due to version number

Hi everyone. I'm at the point where I have flashed the BIOS and swapped the CPU but it will only boot to the BIOS and won't go into Windows. It does recognise the CPU as a 5600x, but it won't boot up. The system did boot up after the BIOS update.
I have cleared CMOS, unplugged everything else other than the SSD that contains windows but no luck. Is there anything else I should be doing?

Thanks again

Guys after googling about I found that changing the Windows Configuration from UEFI to CSM worked. Still don't know what that does but it did the trick. Hopefully someone else can benefit from this post!
