Hi everyone.  I just got my MSI GT683R yesterday.  YAY!! :D  It looks amazing.  The only thing is, though, I'm not sure my Turbo button works or not.  It doesn't light up when I press it, but then I realized that I was on battery power yesterday when I tried it.  Do I have to be connected to AC power for the Turbo button to work?

Also, what is MSI Reminder?  That is a CPU hog...

Yes, you need to connect ac power cord 1st

PHEW!!  Okey dokey.  That makes me feel better. lol.  Thank you very much, Svet! :D  Do you also happen to know what the MSI Reminder process is?  It takes up over 50,000 CPU usage units on my laptop...

Nope, but i guess its a reminder about something.[maybe you have Live Update installed?]
You can stop it, its not important

Thanks, Svet, but when I try to end the process, it gives me an error message saying I can't/I'm not allowed to.

I set it up yesterday and just logged in with that.  I'm assuming that gives me administrative rights.  The process is called MSI Reminder.  I've tried googling it to find more information, but nothing has come up under that name.

Any ideas, Svet?  And thank you very much so far for your help. :)
