I just purchased and installed the MSI TV @ Anywhere Plus PCI card. I have tried it with the drivers and tuner software it shipped with (1.0.0.9) and with the ones from the website (1.0.0.10)
My screen is a 24" widescreen (16:9 ratio) and I'm using standard cable input which is 4:3 ratio.
When I put the program in fullscreen mode so I can watch it like a television, the software stretches the picture to the 16:9 ration causing horizontal distortion (stretching).
I'm hoping to replace my older Win-TV GO card because I am very interested in the features this MSI card offers, and I am very satisfied with my MSI video card I bought a few months ago.
The Display Aspect Ratio option on the Video tab doesn't seem to make any difference at all in this behaviour. How can I fix it? I'd just like it to have black bars on the sides and not have to switch screen resolution to watch TV. I have tried it in overlay mode and not.
Please help, I've got a week to return it, and probably less patience than that for something that should work - especially since it has an option.
