Again, first off I want to say that I have not yet purchased Tv@nywhere but is considering getting one of these CX23880 chipset tv/capture cards.

I earlier posted that some people use Prolink Pixelview Play TV HD driver on TV@nywhere with some improvement.

Now Asus has come up with a new CX23880 tv card:

Notably it is "the first TV tuner card to attain Microsoft® CX23880 WHQL Certification". Also, it claims to "Supports STEREO and SAP modes while watching TV"

So now, you might consider using this driver from Asus over your TV@nywhere. The driver

Did you try this driver out yet? There seems to be only pdf files on the link you have...

As I said I was thinking of but have not bought TV@nywhere, so I did not download that Asus file to try out before I posted the previous message. I just downloaded it and well, it really only contains a pdf file. Sorry for the blunder. Hopefully the driver will be available online soon.

Sorry to say this on MSI forum, but for someone looking for newer generation of tv/video capture cards, like me, TV@nywhere with its numerous problems now looks much less attractive now! I will give it a pass, and try Prolink PlayTV HD or Asus new tv card using similiar Coxenant CX2388x chipset. Or Flyvideo3000.

Or wait a bit longer the new ATi All-in-Wonder tv card incorporating Theater 200 chip WITH 12-bit ADC. (Older Theater 100 chip in AIW is 9 bit ADC and is comparable to 8-bit Coxenant BT87x chip, so presumably a 33% increase from 9-bit to 12-bit ADC in Theater will give even greater jump in image improvement than a 25% increase from 8-bit to 10-bit ADC in Coxenant chip - Wow, I can't wait to see how good the image will be. (9700 version will cost an arm and a leg, but a later 9000 version should be much more affordable).

Sorry I keep talking of other products. I mentioned Asus new tv card here earlier primarily to inform people that there might be an alternative CX2388x chipset driver to try out.

Though I will give TV@nywhere a pass now because of it unresolved driver issues, I believe it still has a newer generation better hardware/chip on board, and I hope people who have purchased this card can fully realise its potential with later driver release. Not to mention there is no guarantee that Asus's card is trouble free!
