TV@nywhere - Incorrect channel mapping

I just got my Tv@nywhere two days ago, and thanks to this forum, I got it working! However, the channels are not mapped according to my cable system. Most are off by three, some are all over the place. Does anyone know of settings for channel mapping? Thanks.

I'm outside Philadelphia, PA on a Comcast cable system. Using Win 2000 Professional.

If you have the updated PVS software, you can manually tune each channel in.

Thanks, but tuning isn't the issue.

An example of the problem is that Cable channel 25 is appearing on channel 28 of the TV@nywhere card. Channel 2 on the card is Cable channel 43.

I have a ReplayTV, which comes with an on-screen listing. I can just point to a show and set it to record, without needing to enter the channel number, start time, or length. I was hoping that the TV@nywhere would give me the same functionality. Is it possible?

Just curious, what do U need TV@nywhere for when U got ReplayTV?

(We (Canadian) don't have any TIVO/ReplayTV or any similar service so that I have to use TV capture card like TV@nywhere to record TV)

my guess is for archivering the recored shows because you can't do that with tivo unless you use the capture method with a video card.

Well, believe it or not, we watch so much TV that we need more than one recorder. I'm looking to the TV@nywhere to give me the flexibility of adding storage easily, whereas the ReplayTV can be expanded, but it's cumbersome.

Also, the new ReplayTV is networked, but I have an older model. This will allow me to share recordings with other folks.

I'm still having the channel mapping problem. The EPG works great, but requires the channels to be the same number as the cable system. Fine tuning only gives me a span of three channels, and there are many that I can't tune in to the proper channel. Any help?

Is there a way to specify a range of cable channels to be used to fine tune a channel on the card?
