TV@nywhere installation fails

I've had no luck at all installing my TV@nywhere on a new system. I had the guy at the store install it on his system and the drivers installed and the card worked fine. On my system the driver install software notifies me after installing video capture files that an error has occurred and that data is invalid. It doesn't even go on to install crossbars and tuner drivers. This is true whether I use the drivers on the disk or the newer ones from the MSI website. Is there a hardware compatibility problem? My system:

ECS P4S5A/DX (SiS 645DX)(onboard sound and LAN)
P4 1.8a, 256MB DDR333
Leadtek A250 Ti4200 64MB
60MB Seagate HD, ZIP100, Acer CD ROM
WinXP Home (SP1 not installed)

It would seem that way but without being there I cannot say with any certainty without actually seeing the behavior of the system in question.

Keep checking back over the week to see if any of the forum members have any suggestions.

Also you could try another manufacturer's card and see if the problem persists.

I will keep an eye on this thread to see if there is any progress.

I notice that my Leadtek Ti4200 has a Conexant TV decorder chip onboard could this be a source of conflict? I have another system that I'll try the TV@nywhere hardware in....

not sure, do you have another Vidcard you could try?

Would the tech try doing the same to your pc by using his video card installed on your system?

Anyone? ?(
