The picture quality is excellent with cable TV.
Remote works fine with XP as long as you do not have SP1 installed.
Scheduling with TitanTV works. The MSI PVS software automatically boots up when it is time to record and then shuts down after the recording is finished.
Recording in MPEG 1, 2 or 4 works. The capture size and bit rate are both adjustable.
Streaming TV over the internet works. You can watch it with Windows Media Player or you can use the MSI PVS software on the remote computer. I got it to stream over the net at about 56 kbps (upstream limitations of my cable modem). The sound is fine at that rate but the picture is not so good.
I also got it to work on my home LAN with a streaming rate of 2000 kbps. The picture on the remote computer is very sharp.
If you use the MSI PVS software, instead of Media Player, on the remote computer you can even change channels over the internet. Very cool.
This card + software is a real bargain for the $60 I paid for the package (newegg.com). Consider that ShowShifter or SnapStream cost $50 just for the software!
My only complaint is the sound is Mono and not Stereo. Hopefully this will get fixed soon.
Overall, I am very happy with this product. :]
