I've installed a TV @nywhere on a MSI K7N420 nForce motherboard, along with drivers, and teletext + PVR applications on the CD. Running under Windows XP Pro, it produces no TV. The onscreen window displays only a blue field when TV is selected.
The cable TV cable input tests valid on other decvices. I have not tested antenna as extensively because reception is bad here.
I do not know if I have Windows XP Pro -> SP1. The machine has a fresh install from the CD, with no downloaded upgrades. There's no SP indicator I can discover. Version is 5.1.2600 if that helps.
Using the bundled PVR software, inputs of S Video and RCA operate as expected. the onscreen window displays only blue when TV is selected. Scanning for active channels with the software appears to locate proper broadcast stations, as determined by apparent identification of active channels as Stereo during the scan.
There's a burst of audio static when I change TV channels, but otherwise there's no indication of any TV tuner activity.
Is this a known problem?
Is the WinXP Service Pack 1 problem?
Thank you.
