Okay heres the problem
Due to my throwing a fit @ the latest Drivers putting a white screen up on my TV out i formatted my Pc

now when i go to play a DVD or anything like that and turn on my TV out it no longer picks up my video clips

whats wrong
what have i forgotten
its now 1:32 am where i am and i gotta get up early in the morning and have a lan with a mate
:(

what used to happen was i would load a video clip and while small on my computer screen would go full screen on my TV

Please someone for the love of god help me

What driver are you using now? Do you have problems only with video clips or with TV out in general?

If only with Video clips (or movies), same happened to me with 40.41 drivers under WinXP. I had to uninstall them and use 30.82. I recommend you 30.82, as I use under Win98 and WinXP without problems.

well it used to work fine just under the generic drivers
The ones that came with the card

now it dont i feel like taking the card and throwing it into a shredder

If you need to then you can go back to the latest drivers from MSI:

MS-8867

Since the nVidia Reference Drivers are not working for you.

Well i downloaded all the Nvidia Drivers
and the ones that worked were the 28.32 drivers

but still no auto video on screen
;( ;( ;( ;(

YAY I GOT IT GOING AGAIN


and it wasnt thanks to some brand spanking new Graphics drivers


i just forgot to turn video overlay on

I think this is because nvidia included macrovision protection for the first time with the 40.41 drivers. Try tvtool to disable it. link
