I first installed a generic USB 3.0 card. Works great. Now I installed a 2nd one(an ASUS U3S6). This one works great but the 1st card doesn't work any more. Is something wrong or can I only have one USB 3.0 card?
(latest NEC USB 3.0 Host Controller driver: 1.0.19.0)

Is the older card a 4X as well? With the VGA in slot E2, will it work with your older card in E4 & with the new one in E5?

Wait...

OK..

-PCI_E1(x1):.........Generic USB 3.0 card (x1 card) (not working)
-PCI_E2(x16):.......ASUS U3S6 (x4 card) (working)
-PCI_E3(x1):.........Free
-PCI_E4(x16):.......Gigabyte HD 5850 (wont fit in E2 due to drive bay fan)
-PCI1:.................Blocked
-PCI_E5(x16):.......Free
-PCI2:.................Free

Blue LEDs for all 3 cards light up BTW...

So the generic card will work when the ASUS card is removed.

Should I try a different config?

Ok i actually tried the generic in E3 and that works. But it still does not work in E1 whilst the ASUS is in E2. Weird.
But I'm satisfied with the working config. Thanks.

 That's good news! That was going to be my 'last resort' option for you to try if the others failed. :lol_anim:
