Hello all, I recently sent my claw 8 for an rma and got it back.
Bitlocker triggered and I disabled/unencrypted it.
Now the issue is that I found out I had a firmware and bios update available, though I feel like I would've updated them already (RMA took only 3 days).

In any case I decided to update the bios to .112 (latest avail). But came across an issue where every restart, the installation prompt for the bios appears then disappears immediately and boots back like nothing happened.

Not sure how to fix this, I did update the firmware to latest before I did the bios but I'm not sure if this causes any issues.

Centre m was updated to latest as well. I do have a 65w (200w) charger, so it is still charging.

Maybe try to get into BIOS by pressing RT+RB repeatedly when MSI logo shows, check if the version has been updated correctly, load default, and save the changes.

Tried that and it doesnt work. As a matter of fact i cant even enter the BIOS thru the msi logo anymore, used to before the RMA but now it doesnt work.

Try to do EC reset. If the problem persists, you might need to contact RMA again and ask for a fix.

I have the same issue too, my bios stuck at version 110 and can't update to 112. Support team said it's MSI center m bug and give me two options, 1. Wait for the update for center m, which I already tried but no work, and 2. Install directly from bios, and I don't want to touch that.

Wait for solution too.

If it is really a bug of MSI center m, you can update the BIOS manually.
Download the package from MSI website, right click the flashwin file, and run as a administrator to update the BIOS.
There is also a BIOS update guideline included in the download package.
