Unable to update MCU firmware on MSI MPG 321URXW QD-OLED

I recently purchased the MPG 321URXW OLED monitor and just updated to the latest scalar firmware FW.007 but I'm having trouble updating the MCU firmware. For some reason, whenever I click on the MCU button under the Firmware Update section in the Gaming Intelligence software, it just gives me a pop up that says "Device has been refreshed. Click "OK" to close the window" as is seen in the picture below. Has anyone experienced this issue and know of a fix? Thanks in advance!

Don't plug in or remove USB device when open Gaming Intelligence or during flashing firmware.
