Last month, I noticed that MSI launched a new mini-PC called Cubi. I thought it is a suitable product for my Mom because she just can't stop being stuck on her smartphone on Facebook and something. I think use smartphone too much is not good for her eyes, so I decided to get a mini PC for her.

Today, I got my first month's salary, and I bought a Cubi IMMEDIATELY as a present for my Mom.
Let's check the spec of the Cubi I bought:
CPU : Intel Broadwell i5-5200U, 2.70GHz
HDD : N/A
SSD : 128GB
Memory : 4GB
Considered that my Mom has the demands of online HD video streaming, so I choose the i5 version.

It would be set up in the living room, use the Samsung's 39 inches TV as the monitor.
[attachthumb=3]
Let's open it up.

Here is a interesting slogan on the box:
"When you are small, you have to be smart."
[attachthumb=5]
OK, here are all I got from the box. The Cubi itself, the power cable and adapter, a driver CD (you'll need it after you installed your OS), manuals and warranty card.
In addition, there are something not in this pic but included in the box: a bottom lid which will offer the Cubi more space capacity in case of you want to upgrade your Cubi. And a VESA hanger that you can install your Cubi on the rear side of your TV or monitor.

It shows how to install a additional 2.5" SATA HDD into your Cubi.

It shows how to install additional memory or SSD.
[attachthumb=8]
It shows how to install your Cubi onto your VESA standard TV or monitor.
[attachthumb=9]
Let's see how small it is.
[attachthumb=10]
Just as high as a 1/144 Gunpla.
[attachthumb=11]
It's light and small, so it is easy to install anywhere in your house.
[attachthumb=12]
There are 2 USB 3.0 port on this side, the left one support Thunderbolt.
[attachthumb=13]
Here are 2 more USB 3.0 port this side. And there are also the power port, a Display Port, a HDMI port and a Ethernet port.
[attachthumb=14]
The one I bought is a Non-OS version, so I have to install the OS by my self. After the few hours installation, it finally can officially on board!!
[attachthumb=15]
My Mom is satisfied that she can surf on the Facebook, Youtube with a bigger screen now!
Cubi is a interesting product that although it is small but it keeps some room to upgrade, which is very flexible for me. It is not only a mini PC for your parents, it can also be used in the office, shop or restaurant to run the POS system or do some document works.
All in all, I would like to recommend Cubi to you guys!
