Hello my friends, i would like to share those awesome moments that i had while unboxing my new notebook
i hope i can describe it well because it deserves really an awesome review!

let's start with talking about the design
MSI always aimed for the beast looking products and it actually knew how to accomplish that, you can have look at it and see those great side lines and the msi dragon logo in center and the marital they used to finish it with

about the keyboard, i bet now everyone is already familiar with the steelseries keyboard for MSI notebooks ;)
it's always been awesome and on this model i feel it also very good, you can customize it to full colors RGB, with millions of colors for 5 different places around it, three for the keyboard, and one for the touchpad and the last one in front, so be create and play them to go along with your mood and tune xD

the sound is actually going to make you into what you are doing more than ever with the power of Dynaudio speakers and the woofer you have below the notebook
i always have to lower it so family won't shout and you have 4 jacks for different kind of audio related stuffs, headset, microphone, in/out

display of the screen is really clear and awesome, with the feature of true color also you are able to control colors ;)

and now it's the time to talk about the most important part that we all ask for is that is the performance!!!
so far i haven't played many times, just one Assassins creed rouge, and it's running so fast with all high settings, but of course it needs a lot of benchmarks to determine how much it's capable of

tobii is an additional feature of this model, it's an eye track feature that is supported by few games and apps, but it really offer big stuffs and nice technology
also you can see it for windows login and various stuffs including some games too like assassins creed rouge and syndicate and of course tom Clancy division

i hope my review was enough for you to love this one and i can ensure you that this one is good enough for most users
here's some other pics you can see more of it

thanks!

Awesome review!  Now I want to update my laptop xD
I recommend sticking with MSI in case you want to update it ;)
especially that you could reach 50c on hard core gaming or full load while you use coolerboost 4
i never experienced such a low temperature in these case elsewhere

yes, it can make you do whatever you would like to, even as a workstation, like rendering for 3D softwares take short time
i would give it 9/10 for gaming and 8/10 for workstation and 8.4 for overall

eye tracking! so jealous. enjoy the new laptop, I know you will!
lol well i wouldn't be so jealous if i were you, because tobii eyetracking has pretty few issues like it takes some extra usage out of your CPU & Memory, so i mostly turn it off unless there's a game that support it and sometime it gives your eyes a pain because of needing to move eye pupil a lot to interact with the eyetracking so i mean it's not really a big deal :p
the laptop itself is awesome though, no complaining of course but i just stated the negatives

Just picked mine up one the 14th, Its my first MSI and I LOVE it! Long story short; I just upgraded from a brand new Alienware 17 R3 with a 970m in it (and before that a ASUS ROG with a 460m), and this thing blows it out of the water. especially since its basically got a full speed 1070 in it! It is a little thicker than I was hoping for, but still fits in my laptop sleeve in my bag. Also, the 3 red lights from the Tobii eyetracking take a few days to get used to, but I fell in love with Tobii from the start. I originally thought it was going to be some gimmick just to make more money, but it works better than you can imagine and I find myself using it in the Division (with a small learning curve). It also has the Windows Hello face Recognition, which I love, it makes signing in so easy, just sit down. I found the G-sync likes to lock my games at 75 FPS, most of which on high or max settings.

lol to be honest, i love bulky laptops or pcs, i don't like slim, because i feel power in the size XD
but of course for phones i like thinner
like i really love the size of this notebook, MSI always impress me <3
Tobii is awesome, and now they're supporting more games than previous year, and yeah i also like hello face recognition, even when there's no light in room it's able to recognize me that tell its well made device obviously!
i also got the division with it but i'm playing the assassins creed syndicate now and it's really maxed on all with V-sync and it's like super fast, on the previous MSI GT72S with 980m i couldn't be so satisfied with playing the syndicate on full settings, it was slow, so i can tell the 1070 is really 40-60% better than 980m like i felt it

^agreed. It is a huge jump from my 970m and even more from my 460m (and yes, you can still game on that old thing) that i had just a few months ago.  The size does give the feel of power! and the GPU power is insane, I love how the 10 series now is virtually identical between desktop and laptop. I saw a review saying the laptop card was faster on paper but in performance test was at about 97%, which is insane! I have g-sync set up and have not had a problem running any game on max at a locked 75FPS.

Hello Folks,

I'm a new user of MSI CX62 series, I know its not as good as yours but I need help.

[attachthumb=1]

As I unboxed it this morning and starts using it, I notice the right click of the touchpad is slightly pushed down compared to the left one. It's not evident but when your look closely it's there. There's no issue on the functions but I'm a bit concerned if this is not normal. see image below

yup, GTX 10 has finally arrived for notebook users that needed strong GPU power in a portable computer for anything they need it for, gaming, computing, photoshop etc... those beasts can run anything you throw at it xD
but i normally don't use G-Sync because for some games it doesn't run well so i disable it also because i like to play without locked FPS o_o since the G-sync lock games on 75FPS whatever the device you are running it on

oh so this button can't get up even if you try to like take it out without affecting it ? have you tried anything for it ? and i'm sure it shouldn't be like this whatever the model is, i suggest if you couldn't fix it yourself is to discuss it with the vendor you got it from or talk with the support of MSI via this link https://www.msi.com/support
they're truly helpful! :)
keep us updated, because this matter is important in case you can't bring the mouse with you and needed to use the touchpad
