My Dominator and am loving it. Picked up a DS300 mouse, DS502 Headset, and Thunderstorm mouse pad. Everything is working amazingly well so far, and I could not be happier (well maybe if I had a GT83VR Titan SLI). There was no competition after doing my research between this, alien-ware, and Asus Rog. The MSI was the most powerful and trustworthy at the price. Alienware, I felt, was only really paying for a name, not a real gaming computer. The Asus was in second. A buddy had just bought one in Feb 2016 and said he immediately regretted not buying MSI. There is a peace of mind knowing this company solely exists for the gaming community. I wish I could have afforded to bump all the way up to the GT83, but I just do not have the $5K sitting around. Once we get a new house next year, I plan on diving into a full MSI desktop for an even better experience! I must say the way the packaging was set up was impressive in itself. The laptop comes very well protected. The core box it is set in, shows the dedication MSI has to quality. IT wasn't just crammed in a piece of brown cardboard. It had a detailed clean cut box. I wasn't able to take video at the time but I do have pictures. After using this laptop for just over a week, I am very happy with the result. I have installed Skyrim SE and Arma III. It is able to run both of these at Ultra detail without missing a step. I plan on getting GTA 5 on it as well and see how that looks and runs. I am not sure which game will truly push this machine to its limits, but I intend to see just how powerful it really is!
There is a lot of technology equipped with this laptop I have never tried out before. The Killer Doubleshot pro is foreign to me. I used to game alot years ago, but have been away (PC gaming) for too long. I am not familiar with streaming oneself while playing a game. It seems like it would not be as interesting, but I know gamers do. StoneMountain 64 for example, has thousands of followers. I think I will try it out at some point. One interesting design of this lap top was something my buddy with the Asus is jealous of, is fan control. His laptop shuts down all the time from overheating and he cannot control his fans. The fact I can and even from my phone on the app, blew his mind and made him even more jealous of this beast.
