After doing some research for the latest RTX generation, I have decided for an upgrade, having previously owing a few MSI laptop (EX460, GT70 i7 3rd gen/ GTX670M), and there is only few choices of other brands to choose from, I decided to go with the latest GE75 8SF.  I had a 7th gen laptop with 1050Ti, it served its purpose for some mobile gaming on the go and working out of office in the last two years.  It survived Assassin's Creed Egypt, Rise of the Tomb Raider at reasonable frame rate and picture quality but then, the latest Assassin's Creed Greece and Shadow of Tomb Raider seems too much for the 1050Ti.  An excuse really, I game from the desktop 99% of the time, just wanted an upgrade on the mobile PC.  Reading from the online reviews that the RTX2060 is on par with GTX1070 and RTX2070 is a little out from the GTX1080, the RTX2060 already meets my requirement, but it is better to have a step ahead futureproof-wise. It is interesting on MSI's price strategy for this gen's gaming laptop, Acer usually wins the competition and Asus with promotion come close to best C/P, however this time the GE75 8SF fall within the price range I am willing to pay for and releasing fast the full coverage on low/middle/high end gaming model out to the market sector.

The Package
The laptop itself came with a MSI bag, the carton box and the Loot Box level 1 within the promotional period.  The loot box contains a wired mouse, mouse pad and a MSI Red Dragon Key ring.

Heat and noise
The noise level is somewhat loud when gaming and under stress load, it can be expected in a thin chassis that the fan must be spinning up fast to dissipate the heat accumulated inside the chassis. There are 4 air vents 2 from each rear sides. The left hand side is the CPU and the right hand side is the RTX2070.The 8750H deliver much more performance than the previous gen?s CPU and in the GE75 Chassis a loud blast of noise when the fan is turned on high from time to time.Maybe this is an issue from the Power/Performance control, will study if the XTU or other under volts can remedial the problem.  During 3Dmark the highest temperature was up to a whopping 96 Degree Celeus,  but there is no thermal throttling at least, so the performance was not compromised for heat and noise of the machine.

In this regard, the GE75 is a capable machine which provide much about everything you need for AAA title Gaming and Work without compromising quality and style.

How do your games run on this laptop? I have the same one with the same hardware, and I get around 80fps on Fortnite and 60fps on Apex Legends. From my understanding, I should be getting over double these rates. Any thoughts? I would also love it if you or someone else would get into a discord call with me and try and help me.

Apex Legends has an FPS cap that's why its 60 FPS. I recently bought the MSI P65 Creator and I'm getting over 70 fps after adding the command +fps_max unlimited to the launch options and setting the game to borderless window (fullscreen still caps it to 60fps idk why).
