I recently purchases a stunning new gaming laptop.
Mostly I was captivated by the special price of saving R5000 which is quite a lot on a R25000 laptop and I was very impressed with the retailer for sourcing it for me.
I had a few requirements, I wanted something new, something that is a bit of a brag but mostly something that has some of the latest specifications. Therefore I wanted something that has a Core I7 (brag) 6700HQ seemed pretty high up and 8GB memory of DDR4 type seemed really impressive, but not as impressive as the 17.3 inch FHD screen. Compared with other laptops there really wasn't anything else I would rather have for a similar price range. Aside from that this laptop has a very strong GPU which I am told will be able to play many games at Full detail settings or very close to. I myself am not much of a gamer but my gamer boyfriend told me that this was the laptop for sure, since he also got himself one of these.
He has however immediately replaced and sold the TB hard drive and replaced it with a samsung 950 pro nvme express 500GB which he showed me and I have to say that it really does make a big difference.
I am a bit disappointed by the quality of the speakers on the laptop but I can live with it. I really disliked the lights on the keyboard it was shining too brightly when I looked at them when trying to type, but at least I asked my boyfriend and he turned them off for me by pressing the FN key and on the numpad the + button.
I made him do the unboxing for me because he told me about the msi rewards and the daily reward and how that after quite some time we could get a game or a laptop of such.
