I am a fan of MSI products and this is my first time to post here in this forum.
I have purchased my new graphic card GTX 970 GAMING 100ME and it is installed now in my PC for almost a week and I am so excited about it. The card also came with a game promotion for Batman Arkham Knight and I am so glad that I could get this game with the graphic card.
What I do like about this product is the quality starting from the look of the box until you have it installed in your PC and you feel how much effort MSI put in their products to improve the quality.
The box came with the following:
- Graphic card
- CD (Driver and MSI utilities)
- DVI converter
- 6 to 8 pins power converter
- Quick User's Guide
- MSI Gamming series brochure
The card is working smoothly so far and the performance is good when I tested some games like Batman Arkham Knight and The Witcher III in High and Ultra settings with gaming mode (still want to test the performance in OC mode).
The fans are so quiet and they work perfectly to keep the temperature within the acceptable range and this due to the design of the heat sink, dual fans and the smart thermal design of the Twin Frzr cooling system which really improved the cooling the gamming series of MSI graphic cards.
There is a nice gamming application that comes in the MSI utilities which gives you the one click option for Over Clocking mode, gaming mode and silent mode. Also there is a cool down option that make the fans work in full speed for faster cooling in 40 sec to reduce the GPU heat and return it back near to the idle condition.
Also the GTX 970 GAMING 100ME comes with the back plate which gives the card a nice look at the back and it is good for protection.
As for the display there are two outputs for HDMI and another two outputs for DVI.
Before purchasing the card I was concerned about the card size to fit in my PC but when I checked the dimensions it can fit with my midtower case and it is placed perfectly without any issues as you will see that in the taken photos later on.
