Unboxing new Codex G gaming box. . . Disappointing, to say the least. . .

. . .I am unimpressed. When removing the glass panel to remove the transit foam packing, noted one of the rubber grommets was missing. Attempted to boot, never got past BIOS: boot disk was corrupt.

Tech support suggested I do a clean install of Win10. Which would be interesting, because there is no optical drive to boot from.

Would love to know how a box with both a minor missing part, and the inability to boot to OS, made it through QA. RMAed the box for a refund from Costco.

What's sad, is my last three homebrew boxes have all had MSI motherboards, and nothing could kill them. As it is. . .looking to buy another brand now. . .

Same issue with my Codex R11... I have all the little rubber bits, but it will only boot into BIOS. Help ticket wants a system info file. Tough get, that.

Okay, this is what I learned. The computer did not have the correct boot priority... went into the BIOS, advanced tab, settings, boot... and changed the #1 boot slot to the hard drive. Now I'm in setup, like I should be.
