I'm looking for someone who knows if the motherboard package is supposed to be sealed. My X99 Godlike Carbon came accessible to any hands that cared to open it up and do what they wanted to it. For  $600 dollars U.S. it would be nice to have a warm fuzzy feeling that I'm the only one to open up the box, but it has been handled enough to tear the cover loose at the hinged corners. Can someone please tell me if this is the way it is? Do I need to contact the seller? I'm getting nowhere with MSI. I need to know so I can either eat it, or take action. AM I to 350 words now? This started as an inquiry, but having to fill this with three hundred and fifty words is forcing me to make it a rant.'m looking for someone who knows if the motherboard package is supposed to be sealed. I would have thought that your mother board should have been still sealed
I would have phoned the post service before signing for it
and said that the mother board is not sealed and took some photos so that if it did not work or there was some bits missing you could claim from them or send it back at there expence

hope this helps

Well, for one....you shouldn't be posting this in the 'notebook' section. This is a motherboard for a desktop, not for a laptop.....

And 2....it shouldn't be in the 'unboxing' section either. Those are meant for reviews/unboxings of products.

What I would do is call up your retailer/online store you bought it from, and explain the situation.....Maybe they will refund/return it and send you a new one that isn't opened or possibly damaged during shipping.
