Good day, folks. I’m in a bit of a pickle. I’ve installed a GTX 980M graphics card, but the Nvidia drivers won’t update to the latest version, and the fan is constantly running at 100% speed. Additionally, the donation button for SVET opens a blank page with the message: ‘about:blank#blocked’
Moreover, I managed to find a similar update package for my laptop from SVET: ‘1762_51x_71x_T24Svet GT700Nx_7.xxcards.’ Many thanks to SVET for that! The BIOS has been updated from GT60 16F3 to GT70 E1762IMS.51X. However, this didn’t solve the issue. The EC FW version remains the same: 16F3EMS2 Ver5.05. I also tried updating it to the ‘1762.T24’ version from the archive, but unfortunately, the same method didn’t work. As for installing the latest Nvidia video drivers, I attempted to remove the old drivers from the system using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), but it didn’t help. And if anyone knows an effective way to donate to SVET for their essential work, please feel free to share any method with me as well, folks.
