Unstable board

I have several problems with my MSI Eclipse board. First thing to keep in mind while reading the rest is that my memory isn't fault proof at 1.50v (setting 'auto' in bios I think), but is stable at 1.55 or higher. These are 6 sticks of OCZ Platinum OCZ Platinum OCZ3P13332G. Windows means Windows XP 64 bit SP2.

Running bios 1.1:
I can boot into windows with voltage auto, 1.55 or 1.6 with 1 stick of memory. Works ok. but only having only 2 GB of memory rather slow with all the swapping going on.
I can boot into windows with voltage auto and 2 or 3 sticks of memory. Setting memory voltage to anything other than auto will not get me in windows. This isn't 100% stable, but close to it. System survives about 1-2 days, then tosses a bluescreen.
I can boot into windows with voltage auto, and 6 sticks of memory. Setting memory voltage to anything other than auto will not get me in windows. This is not stable at all, usually crashes within a few hours. Memtest confirms this and tosses errors all around.

Running bios 1.2 and 1.3b3:
I can boot into windows with voltage auto, 1.55 or 1.6 with 1 stick of memory. Works ok. but only having only 2 GB of memory rather slow with all the swapping going on.
All other memory configurations and voltages will NOT get me in windows. The system does boot to DOS though.

In all the instances where the system does not boot to windows, I get a blue screen or in some instances the system just halts with a blinking cursor. Safe mode tells me every time it's some error with acpitabl.sys. Drivers are obviously not the issue as the system boots with the same components if memory is swapped out.
I also tried to install a fresh copy of windows, but this stops after copying the initial driver files to disk; afterwards while it's starting the installation environment (like where you pick the drive to install on), it just reboots instead. This happens in all instances where the already installed windows environment doesn't boot up.

So what's going on? Am I missing something or is the bios at fault here?

full system specs can be found here.

Are all of your memory modules identical (same OCZ3P13332G revision with identical SPD tables)?

Please check the SPD Profiles of each stick with CPU-Z.  Look for internal model numbers/serial number & production weeks/dates as well.  Post a screenshot of the CPU-Z SPD view(s) here.

Your memory is rated at a minimum of 1.8V, upwards to 1.95V, look here:
http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_ddr3_pc3_10666_platinum_edition
So booting them on 1.55V will make them unstable.
I know you dont want to go over 1.65V, so better swap them for a low voltage kit, like Corsair or G.E.I.L..
They have special tri-kits for the new Bloomfield and X58, as do other manufacturers I suppose.

Yes, they are all the same model, have the same SPD tables. Even the production week is the same on all modules.

I've set the memory timings myself as with the boards default settings it sets the timings to 7-7-7-21 1T, which is not stable at the default voltage of 1.50v. I tried higher values as well, up to 8 9 9 23 2T, but those seem to have no effect on the booting issues and stability with 6 sticks active. From 1.55 onwards I can use the 7-7-7-21 timing, but then windows doesn't boot anymore, even when I don't use auto setting for voltage, but set it to 1.50v manually.

Also, this memory is stable at 1.55, 1.60 etc. so why can't I boot then with those settings? Why does it boot on 1.50 auto setting, but not 1.50 manual setting?? If this memory is rated at 1.8v, then why does SPD give values of 1.5v? And even with that table, the board doesn't seem to use them..

Also many people seem to be using this specific set of memory, and I haven't read a single problem with them. They use other brand X58 boards though.

Well, my OCZ pair wouldnt be stable on the settings of 4-4-4-15 @1.8V either, but even so they were sold to me like that.
After I changed it to 2.1V, from a tip on the net, all was fine and dandy.
About the SPD, from my pair I can tell you also that it isnt correct and my computer wont use them either.
And like I said, the site says 1.8V, im not making it up.

I also suggest that you try to borrow another set of RAMs from a friend and test your system out.
