MSI have started to release a Patched BIOS for ALL the AM4 Motherboards, this is to remedy the COD/BF6 Game TPM error message.
Please keep an eye on the MSI web page of your motherboard for the BIOS updates.
Before you apply the BIOS Update, you will need to disable TPM in the BIOS to prevent problems with Windows Hello and Windows Activation errors.

--Edit Sept.12--

- Turn off/backup/suspend bitlocker before BIOS flash (if you use the feature)
- Disable TPM in BIOS before BIOS flash
BIOS are available here

These BIOS are coming straight from MSI, but if you have any concern, wait for official website upload version.
Update BIOS at your own discretion.
If BIOS for your board is not here or on the website, it means it is not ready yet.
Known AMD Limitation
- AMD does not support Ryzen 1000, 2000 TPM update
- AMD B550, A520 + Picasso will not work with TPM-B due to AMD limitation

Have put in a request to MSI to verify if we have the correct TPM

As users are reporting, TPM Firmware was updated to 3.94.0.5 and not the latest version 3.94.2.5
I may not have this info till sometime on Monday at the earliest.

EDIT 15-Sep 1500 Hours AU (+10GMT)

BIOS updates for 300, 400 and 500 Series Chipsets on the Support Site will contain TPM Patch 3.94.2.5 when available to download
Check Bios Notes to verify

So Call of Duty released a new update, and now my BIOS is out of date according to their system. However, I do have the latest BIOS possible for my motherboard (MPG 670E Carbon Wifi). So am I just screwed until another update comes out for my motherboard? Screenshots below for my latest BIOS as well as CoDs scan that can be used to see what fails for your device.

I just ran the test, and it passed with a 12 month old bios on the AM5 chipset

Hello maybe there are some updates regarding this issue ?
So Call of Duty released a new update, and now my BIOS is out of date according to their system.
Please check if Windows has installed any necessary new security keys

See this guide

According to the guide you have provided, my windows is up to date with the latest 2023 certificate.

I doubt very much it is the BIOS, as that information is correct.

Keys are up to date
All I can say is that it should not be throwing any errors

Try disabling most of your startup programs in case there is a clash with another App

Just tried this, I disabled every startup app excluding Microsoft Defender. Unfortunately no change, I still get the "BIOS Firmware Update required" message.

Have spoken with MSI, and it is either the Developer or a Windows Configuration problem

The best I can suggest is to reset the TPM

A few things to check, if you still got problems like me.

Check the Expiration Date of the certificate.
Push keys win+R then type certlm.msc Look in the "intermediate certification authorities folder" and check the Expiration Date of the certificate for Microsoft TPM Root and Amd TPM root. Normaly it will last for year(s). If the date is passed then you need to reinstall the game or use an assistant program extrudable like we see here with COD. I had no issues here.

My Windows Defender was in a lock position. To check the status of the SecurityHealthService
Push keys win+R then type Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SecurityHealthService and watch Launchprotected, Should be 0, mine was 2. Not easy to get it back to 0, but with a little help of copilot I had it done. But be VERY careful what you change in the registry or in command line.

Then check if all 3 Microsoft security services are running by push keys win+R then type services.msc (Names can be different on versions of Windows).

I forgot to mansion that my BITS job list was reached the limit of 60 jobs (found in the event list), so I didn't get any Secure Boot update anymore. Probably caused by a failing update.

After this was done, the errors in event list about TPM were gone for me and BF6 didn't freeze anymore.

This is no longer an MSI problem, nor is it caused by MSI, but is all on Activision and Microsoft. I suggest you hit them up for a fix or a full refund of the game price, and have them toss in some emotional damage compensation as well.

Hello, I'm having the same issue as these guys here. Secure Boot is All OK and TPM is good to go as i've gone through the replys and checked before posting and nothing is working for me unfortunately, I had the message regarding BIOS update previously but get no message now regarding that, Having said that it still will not let me play any games on COD other than Casuals. any help or advice would be fantastic thankyou. I've also had a look for the latest BIOS and it's updated to the Latest one. I had been looking for BETA BIOS drivers but couldn't find any.

Hello, I'm encountering a strange issue. I've already updated to the latest BIOS, and both Secure Boot and TPM are functioning properly. I've reviewed your responses to others and confirmed everything, but unfortunately, this problem still persists:

Não sei se vai funcionar ainda, mas pelo que descobri, como tenho um Ryzen 7 2700X, não vai funcionar. Provavelmente vou comprar um Ryzen 5 5600X ou um Ryzen 7 5700X. Pelo que li, eles simplesmente não funcionam com a nova atualização da BIOS.
Falaram a mim que possivelmente trocar o processador por um desses, daria certo. Estou pesquisando melhor.

While I can understand MSI position that it is Activision problem, MSI motherboards seem to be overrepresented in the forums of affected people. Think we need MSI working with Activision to resolve.

There Anti Cheat Rubbish prevents you from activating full PC security, as they need to override and compromise your system's security to use the anti-cheat.
MSI motherboards seem to be overrepresented in the forums of affected people.
MSI is the second largest Supplyer of motherboards.

Hello MSI Support,

I own an MSI Raider GE68 HX 14V (MS-15M2) and am currently running BIOS version E15M2IMS.713.

I am experiencing an issue with Call of Duty's new Secure Attestation system following a recent game update. My system passes all TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot checks, and the game's attestation wizard reports that my system is compliant. However, the game is still reporting a failed attestation status when attempting to join online matches.

As part of troubleshooting, I would like to test whether the issue is related to a recent firmware change.

Could you please provide the previous BIOS version (such as E15M2IMS.712 or the version immediately preceding .713) and confirm whether downgrading the BIOS is supported on my model?

If there are any special procedures or precautions required when rolling back the BIOS on the Raider GE68 HX 14V, I would appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Thank you for your assistance and I look forward to your response.
