MSI have started to release a Patched BIOS for ALL the AM4 Motherboards, this is to remedy the COD/BF6 Game TPM error message.
Please keep an eye on the MSI web page of your motherboard for the BIOS updates.
Before you apply the BIOS Update, you will need to disable TPM in the BIOS to prevent problems with Windows Hello and Windows Activation errors.

--Edit Sept.12--

- Turn off/backup/suspend bitlocker before BIOS flash (if you use the feature)
- Disable TPM in BIOS before BIOS flash
BIOS are available here

These BIOS are coming straight from MSI, but if you have any concern, wait for official website upload version.
Update BIOS at your own discretion.
If BIOS for your board is not here or on the website, it means it is not ready yet.
Known AMD Limitation
- AMD does not support Ryzen 1000, 2000 TPM update
- AMD B550, A520 + Picasso will not work with TPM-B due to AMD limitation

Have put in a request to MSI to verify if we have the correct TPM

As users are reporting, TPM Firmware was updated to 3.94.0.5 and not the latest version 3.94.2.5
I may not have this info till sometime on Monday at the earliest.

EDIT 15-Sep 1500 Hours AU (+10GMT)

BIOS updates for 300, 400 and 500 Series Chipsets on the Support Site will contain TPM Patch 3.94.2.5 when available to download
Check Bios Notes to verify

AM4 BIOS are all up to date with TPM-B Support

Solution
All: I finally resolved my Call of Duty / RICOCHET attestation problem after nearly three months of troubleshooting, and I wanted to document it here because in my case the MSI BIOS and AMD fTPM were not actually the remaining problem.

My system is an MSI X570-A PRO with AMD fTPM. TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, UEFI, measured boot, and the current BIOS/fTPM configuration were all healthy. Windows itself reported the machine as capable of attestation, yet Call of Duty continued to fail secure attestation.

The eventual problem appeared to be an existing application-specific TPM key container named ActivisionAIK that had become stale or otherwise invalid.

I did NOT clear the TPM, reset Secure Boot keys, reinstall Windows, or change...
i saw this post in steam forum about new bios for msi laptop, will there be a similliar bios for motherboards like for mine (msi pro z790-p wifi) or on laptop there is an another problem and only on them it can be fixed with new version of bios and sry for my english

UPDATE - FIXED! 🎉

After weeks of troubleshooting, I can confirm that BIOS E15M2IMS.714 completely fixed the issue on my MSI Raider GE68 HX 14VGG (MS-15M2).

Before the update I had:

  • Call of Duty Failed Attestation
  • Event ID 1041 showing:
    • HealthStatus = Possibly attestable
    • PcrsMatchTcgLog = false
  • A PCR0 / TCG Log mismatch in the measured boot logs.

I tried everything:

  • Multiple clean Windows installs.
  • TPM clear/reset.
  • Secure Boot reset and restoring factory keys.
  • BIOS defaults.
  • Reinstalling the game.
  • Various Windows and BIOS troubleshooting.

Nothing fixed it.

MSI support confirmed they were investigating a PCR mismatch firmware issue and kept my support ticket open while a new BIOS was being developed.

Today I installed BIOS E15M2IMS.714.

Immediately afterwards:

  • Event ID 1041 changed to:
    • HealthStatus = Attestable
    • PcrsMatchTcgLog = true
  • The PCR0 mismatch disappeared.
  • Call of Duty launched normally with no Failed Attestation error.

So, at least on my machine, this was not a Windows issue or a TPM issue—it was a BIOS/firmware issue that MSI has now fixed.

A huge thank you to MSI for producing the BIOS update, and hopefully this post helps anyone else who has been pulling their hair out trying to solve the same problem.

System:

  • MSI Raider GE68 HX 14VGG (MS-15M2)
  • BIOS: E15M2IMS.714
  • Intel Core i7-14700HX
  • Windows 11 25H2

If you're still seeing "Failed Attestation" on this model, I highly recommend updating to BIOS E15M2IMS.714 first.

If you haven't already, Run this Tool and itll tell yiu exactly what the issue is. I ran it for my laptop I knew I had narrowed it down to PCR not working but wasnt sure which one it was, After using this tool and posting the Results in Chat GPT it showed me it was PCR 0 that was affecting my Firmware/BIOS i sent all the information off to MSI for them.

If you haven't tried it as yet, Try it. Its a game changer for Information.

All the best I hope everyone gets it sorted.

No mine was the PCR issue that I posted Firmware/BIOS at first site yours looks like it could be the Certificates but I may be wrong - Your best bet would be and this is what I did thats how I know what my issue was is to download Chat GPT or use it in Browser makes no difference and run the test again and post all the context from the test in there and it will pick up and direct you on what you need to check etc

Make sure you have the latest Windows keys installed via event viewer, check for 1808 if you see 1801 then they have not been updated yet

Can someone walk me through this?
I know I have a rather old setup, but still.B450M‑A PRO MAX and Ryzen 5 2600. I’ve updated to the latest beta BIOS version. Secure Boot is enabled, TPM is on, everything is done by the book — but BO7 still gives a ‘BIOS needs to be updated’ error.
TPM version is 3.8.0.3.

Is there anything I can do?
If I upgrade my motherboard to a new B550, will I run into the same problem?

Thank you

Looks like the only solution now is a clean reinstallation of Windows

I'm a little worried that the main problem will be the processor; see the opening post: "AMD does not support Ryzen 1000, 2000 TPM update"...
