MSI have started to release a Patched BIOS for ALL the AM4 Motherboards, this is to remedy the COD/BF6 Game TPM error message.
Please keep an eye on the MSI web page of your motherboard for the BIOS updates.
Before you apply the BIOS Update, you will need to disable TPM in the BIOS to prevent problems with Windows Hello and Windows Activation errors.

- Turn off/backup/suspend bitlocker before BIOS flash (if you use the feature)
- Disable TPM in BIOS before BIOS flash

These BIOS are coming straight from MSI, but if you have any concern, wait for official website upload version.
Update BIOS at your own discretion.
If BIOS for your board is not here or on the website, it means it is not ready yet.
Known AMD Limitation
- AMD does not support Ryzen 1000, 2000 TPM update
- AMD B550, A520 + Picasso will not work with TPM-B due to AMD limitation

Have put in a request to MSI to verify if we have the correct TPM
As users are reporting, TPM Firmware was updated to 3.94.0.5 and not the latest version 3.94.2.5
I may not have this info till sometime on Monday at the earliest.

EDIT 15-Sep 1500 Hours AU (+10GMT)
BIOS updates for 300, 400 and 500 Series Chipsets on the Support Site will contain TPM Patch 3.94.2.5 when available to download

All: I finally resolved my Call of Duty / RICOCHET attestation problem after nearly three months of troubleshooting, and I wanted to document it here because in my case the MSI BIOS and AMD fTPM were not actually the remaining problem.

My system is an MSI X570-A PRO with AMD fTPM. TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, UEFI, measured boot, and the current BIOS/fTPM configuration were all healthy. Windows itself reported the machine as capable of attestation, yet Call of Duty continued to fail secure attestation.

The eventual problem appeared to be an existing application-specific TPM key container named ActivisionAIK that had become stale or otherwise invalid.

I did NOT clear the TPM, reset Secure Boot keys, reinstall Windows, or change...

I am experiencing an issue with TPM attestation on my MSI PRO B860-P (MS-7E41) motherboard.

System configuration:
  • Motherboard: MSI PRO B860-P (MS-7E41)
  • BIOS: 1.AB0 (June 29, 2026)
  • CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF
  • OS: Windows 11 Home 25H2
  • TPM: Intel PTT (TPM 2.0)
The TPM appears to be fully functional:
  • TPM 2.0 enabled and ready
  • UEFI boot mode
  • Secure Boot enabled with factory keys installed
  • System disk uses GPT partitioning
  • Endorsement Key (EK) certificate is present
However, Windows fails to enroll the AIK certificate.

Running the following command:

certreq -enrollaik -config ""
always returns:
HTTP 400 (0x80190190)
with the message:
"No valid TPM EK/Platform certificate provided in the TPM identity request message."

The Windows scheduled task AikCertEnrollTask also fails with the same error code (0x80190190).
Additionally, Call of Duty's Secure Attestation reports that my system requires a BIOS update, even though I am already running the latest BIOS version available for my motherboard (1.AB0). The game also fails to generate the required attestation key, preventing me from accessing the normal multiplayer matchmaking.
I have already performed the following troubleshooting steps:
Updated the BIOS to version 1.AB0
Updated Intel ME and chipset drivers
Cleared the TPM
Allowed Windows to reprovision the TPM
Deleted and recreated the AIK
Verified Secure Boot, TPM, GPT partitioning and UEFI configuration

This is a Windows Configuration or Activision's problem

Just a bit, but it's not that much of a problem

Sometimes you need to reset the CMOS and allow for a few reboots for it to accept the New TMP, and the Microsoft Security Certificates will also need to update.

Hmm, Intel 7 series may not be compatible; as far as I know, only Intel 8 series and above are compatible.

This has nothing to do with Processing power but the type of TPM on the CPU

The same problem: this is not on MSI, it is on the developer of the game

Your CPU may not support the required TPM; this is a hardware limitation, not a BIOS one

Please ask Intel just waht version of TPM 2 this processor will support or is supported by them

Hello, does anyone know anything about this for the B450M-A PRO MAX? Im trying to play something and im getting an error that my TPM is not ready and it says that my Attestation is not supported in Windows security -> Security processor details. I tried installing the latest bios driver 7C52v3P3 but it didnt work, before 7C52v3P3 i had the 7C52v3P2(Beta version) and it was the same. Tried some other stuff as well but no luck. I have an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 if that helps.

your running a 7th gen processor. If your playing COD BO7 your system is a bit to old. the new security updates dont go back to 7th gen only 8th gen and forward

TLDR we're trying to figure out if a B350+5800X3D would get the TPM update necessary to run COD MW4. I was going off of the description of this topic but got a bit confused.

The user has a Ryzen 5 2600, which according to the known limitations falls under this "AMD does not support Ryzen 1000, 2000 TPM update" though according to the chart his CPU which is Pinnacle Ridge is supported?
The chart also shows that vermeer ( the 5800X3D ) is not supported on the B350 TPM firmware update.

My hope is that this is outdated and the user can just plug in the latest X3D CPU and play his game, else I think we'd have to find a CPU that fits the condition of above the 2000 series while being lower than the matisse

Very much outdated, that is before AMD decided to include the 300 boards to support the 5000 series CPU

The following shows suported CPU on the 300 series motherboards

It will also have the latest TPM update for 3000 series CPU and up

Adding my case to this thread — brand new build (1 week old), so this isn't a legacy config issue.

Board: MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi (MS-7E56)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D
BIOS: 7E56v1AA2 (2026-06-26) — latest available from MSI
TPM Manufacturer: AMD, fTPM firmware version 6.33.0.6
OS: Windows 11, fully updated

COD Secure Attestation Wizard result:

  • TPM 2.0: ✅ Pass
  • Secure Boot: ✅ Pass
  • New Key Failed to be generated — "BIOS Firmware Update Recommended" ❌
Already tried: clearing TPM WMI endorsement registry key, full TPM re-provisioning via PowerShell (Disable-TpmAutoProvisioning → Initialize-Tpm → Enable-TpmAutoProvisioning), multiple restarts. No change.

Given I'm already on the newest BIOS MSI has released for this board, is there a fTPM-specific firmware fix planned, or should I be looking at a discrete TPM module as a workaround? Any confirmation from others with the Gaming Plus (non-Tomahawk/MAX) variant would help too.

BIOS: 7D25vAN (2026-04-07) — latest available from MSI
TPM Manufacturer: INTC, version 600.18.1040.2765
OS: Windows 11, fully updated

COD Secure Attestation Wizard result:

  • TPM 2.0: ✅ Pass
  • Secure Boot: ✅ Pass
  • New Key Failed to be generated — "BIOS Firmware Update Recommended" ❌
    Has anyone been able to fix this on this motherboard?
