New version have already been pushed via Live Update in MSI Center M, and will be available later for downloading on the official support page.

Bugfix:
• Controller now recognizes Ubisoft Connect and auto switches to Gamepad Mode.
• Fixed where some items in Live Update does not update.
• Fixed controller and bluetooth connection stability.
• Fixed UI consistency across languages.

I just got my MSI Claw 8ai+ and I just got this update and everything was going great, did all my updates to both windows 11 and the MSI software. While I was doing it, the quick settings button worked fine. Now that all the updates have finished the quick settings button is no longer working.

I have tried restarting windows, hard restarting, and restarting a few times with no luck.

I have tried using the MSI Center M clean tool, and reinstalled the MSI Center M and still not working. In-fact after messing with this multiple times, now my MSI Center button on the left isn't working now either.

Also, on the US product page here, it has the wrong MSI Center software. I had to get it from the international page.

Lastly, I tried opening a ticket with MSI and I am getting a 500 internal server error when trying to submit. How can I contact someone?

Would the MSI Center button work after reboot? Or both MSI Center button and quick setting button cannot work on your device currently?
Make sure the BIOS and firmware have been updated to the latest version.
Try to do EC reset and check if the issue could be resolved or not.
shutdown the device and unplug the AC > long press the power button for over 25 seconds > plug in the AC and power on the device

Thanks for the reply. Yes it was both buttons that were broken.

I just did the EC reset, and now the MSI Center button is working..

But the quick settings button is still not working. Any ideas?

Also while I have you a few other issues..
1. Sometimes the finger print reader doesn't work, it doesn't even detect my finger.
2. The calibration feature doesn't seem to do anything, I set it on the table and I let it sits for 10 minutes and nothing is happening.

If I may add something here. The fingerprint problem also happening in my claw A1m. Mostly after restart. It's like, the fingerprint app/driver is not always automatically launched on Windows start.

Elegant example how corporate lame developers are just unable to create proper software.

And of course this is considered normal these days: Asus, Lenovo, Steelseries, Logitech, Razer - I can't name SINGLE ONE hardware companion software working properly on my devices.

Clown IT world.

If the finger print reader sometimes works, could related the angle and the dust on the finger and the sensor.
The battery calibration would process about 3 hours, it would discharge and recharge the battery automatically.
Would the calibration stuck on certain screen for over 3 hours?

Open device manager and righ click on the finger print device to uninstall it.
Download and install the finger print driver again. https://www.msi.com/Handheld/Claw-A1MX/support?sub_product=Claw-A1M#driver
Yep I've done it numerous time. Done EC reset, etc. none of them fix the issue.
And no, it's not about different angle, or dust nor oil. IF this was the issue, windows should at least register the touch on the FP sensor. In this case, windows didn't even register the touch at all, not even an error message, nor a vibrate.
Like I said, it's like the app/driver is not yet loaded on windows login screen. After login with pin, the fingerprint just work perfectly.

Just a quick update.. I was able to resolve this my unfortunately having to do a factory reset:

1. Factory Reset, following this guide:
https://us.msi.com/faq/faq-10338

2. Doing the windows updates per the instructions.

3. Opening the MSI center M and waiting patiently for it to ask me to update (scanning for updates does not work).

4. Install all the updates in the updated MSI Center M.

5. Installing all the windows updates under Settings / Windows Update

6. Installing all the app updates, in the Microsoft Store App.

you mean to resolve fingerprint issue? in that case, if that's the only solution, with all my data and games I've put in the device, I'm afraid it just too much to ask, for a mere fingerprint error. I'd rather the devs recognized this issue and provide the fix
