[Update] MSI Center M 3.0.2608.1201 Released

Release Status
MSI Center M 3.0 is being released in phases. It is currently available via in-app update for Claw 8 EX AI+ only.
Releases for the other models listed below will follow in subsequent phases. Each product's support page will be updated as its version becomes available.
No action is required in the meantime — affected devices will continue running the current MSI Center M version, which remains fully supported.

  • Updates & Enhancements
  • Available now (Claw 8 EX AI+)
    • -Fixed an issue where games installed on an SD card were not automatically displayed in the Library.
      -Fixed an issue where incorrect default power limits of PL1: 17W and PL2: 37W were displayed in Manual Mode.
      -Fixed an issue where game icons were displayed incorrectly in the Library.
      -Fixed an issue where the system repeatedly prompted users to update MSI Center M.
      -Fixed an issue where MSI Quick Settings did not correctly display all 12 items after changing the screen resolution.
      -Fixed an issue where some MSI Quick Settings options could not be adjusted in MSI Center M.
      -Fixed an issue where the button mode did not correctly switch to Gamepad Mode when entering Xbox Mode.
      -Fixed an issue where the joystick could not be used to navigate the interface after entering MSI Quick Settings.
      -Fixed an issue where the Power Plan displayed or applied for each mode was incorrect.
  • Included in the upcoming release for Claw 8 AI+ / Claw 7 AI+ / Claw A8 BZ2EM
  • -Fixed an issue where the 30 FPS limit was not automatically enabled in Endurance Mode (Claw 8 AI+ / Claw 7 AI+).
  • -Fixed an issue where some AMD features could not be used in MSI Quick Settings after updating the VGA driver (Claw A8).
  • *These fixes will be delivered when MSI Center M 3.0 becomes available for these models.


Feature and Specification Adjustments
-MSI Center M 3.0 will also support Claw 8 AI+, Claw 7 AI+, and Claw A8 BZ2EM. Availability for these models will be announced on their respective support pages.
-Added Intel FPS Limiter for Claw 8 EX AI+, allowing users to better manage in-game frame rates.
-Added support for 10 additional languages for GDPR-related text.
-Added Hold behavior to Key Mapping for keyboard key assignments.
-Added the ability to select a Power Plan in Manual Mode.
Power Plan Settings​
The Power Plan settings for each mode have been adjusted as follows:​
Endurance Mode: Efficiency​
AI Engine: Balanced​
Manual Mode: Efficiency / Balanced / Performance, with Performance set as the default.​
*To enable full fan control in Manual Mode, Claw 8 EX AI+ users are recommended to update the BIOS to E1T91IMS.10A or later.​

  • Known Issues (To be fixed in the next release)

Notes
-We recommend performing the update in a stable network environment.
-Do not close MSI Center M or interrupt the update process during installation.
-After completing the update, we recommend restarting the system to ensure that all new features, performance adjustments, and bug fixes are properly applied.
-For Claw 8 EX AI+ users who want full fan control in Manual Mode, please make sure the BIOS is updated to E1T91IMS.10A or later.
-Do not attempt to install a package intended for another model.

Impressive. MSI Center M 3 somehow proves that you can release a “new version” without actually improving the software. Do you have developers working on this, or only designers moving buttons around and calling it an update?
 
Anyone been able to get this update on the A8 Z2E. Msi centre M is completely broken. This update supposedly fixes it but its now Sept 8th and live update still isnt showing the update.
 
The update is broken for the old devices. They removed it from the page with the deivers and utility. When they repair it, it will de redistributed. My expectations will be for the next year.
 
Next year where are you getting this info? The current version is broken too. This needs to be fixed ASAP. None of the quick settings in centre M are working currently. This is expensive device less than a year old and still on sale and essential basic functions are not working. We've also had onde GPU driver update in a year. What a joke. MSI needs to Support their products.

yeah that sucks, which model are you on btw?
 
I am referring the older models like mine Claw 8 Ai, Claw 7 and Claw A8. At the moment the only supported device is the new Claw Ex 8AI. And for what I said about the release date for this devices is only My expectations and not an official info. 😀
 
The first post got an update. So all Users except ai ex need to wait for the rollout for their devices. So we need to be patient.
