I recently updated the Dragon Center since my older version stopped loading. This new version doesn't have the Battery option under tools. I am unable to manage the battery settings. This means my battery is stuck at a maximum of 60% and I won't be able to calibrate. I downloaded the calibration tool, but that is also broken. It says there are open windows even though I've closed all active applications including background ones that load on startup. I have reinstalled the battery calibration tool and it still fails.

Please help? Is there an older Dragon Center I can download that will load and can manage batteries? Is there another tool/utility I can use to adjust the battery settings and run calibrations?

Same thing cant see that battery option in Dragon Center. I bought my MSI in 2016 GT72s 6qd Dominator. I experience problems with the charching of the battery and fallout while playing game.

Could it be that your laptop are not supported with the new dragon center?

Support MSI model:
- Trident X / Trident X Plus 9th
- Trident A / Trident A Plus 9th
- Infinite X / Infinite X Plus 9th
- GF65 Thin 9SE/9SD(Other models with 9th gen CPU will join the support list by the end of September.)
- Nvidia RTX 20 Series GAMING, DUKE, ARMOR, MECH, SEA HAWK, SEA HAWK EK.
- AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT EVOKE, MECH.
- AMD Radeon RX 5700 EVOKE, MECH.
- Nvidia GTX 16 Series GAMING
- AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT GAMING Series
- RX 5500 XT GAMING Series
- GM11, GK30, GH50 - MSI X570 series motherboards.

Noted:
- Only support model can install Dragon Center and running perfectly, the other models may occur unknown issue during install application.
- Not all MSI notebooks can support this version of Dragon Center.

I downloaded this app. No result so apparently not supported. Now I have the issue while playing warthunder, my battery is not charging anymore and falls back. No charging icon. And laptop turns off. Really frustrating

Keep me posted, I am currious if there will be any changes or progress.
Msi suggested that I update my bios and ec firmware and reset the ec.
And then a battery calibration.

I have same issue, no dragon center options except for true color. my battery lasts maybe 60-90min. extremely frustrating because its not even a year old. you would think you could get at least 3-4hrs

Yes, I am stil waiting for new ac adapter. I hope that is the issue. I did a clean install of windows (which MSI suggested) but still same result. Installed steam & warthunder and….same issue again!!. Still no response from MSI after the latest installation of windows. So yes I understand your frustration!!

You could try and check your battery as follows :

open a CMD command promt with admin rights and type :

powercfg /batteryreport /output "C:\battery-report.html"

As posted in :

This should tell you how much charge your battey is capable of vs how much it was designed to charge too.
You need to load the C:\battery-report.html" in the path ou gave the report.

Hi, I have the same problem over here with gt72s... I just ordered a new(mine was 5 yrs old) AC adapter if it will fix that. Did you get your new AC adapter yet? Did it work?
