Updating bios on older motherboard

Hello for older motherboards does the bios have to be upgraded incrementally, or is it okay to go straight to the latest version? If incrementally, is there anyone who could provide the correct sequence for the motherboard and bios version below? Thank you!

Motherboard: b450i gaming plus ac (ms-7a40)
Bios version: e7a40ams.ac0
Bios build date: 6/11/2020

You can update straight to the latest version available.
However if you have no issues then I wouldn't recommend updating BIOS.
