I have a r9 390 8gig.
I am seeing a lot of cards on the buy and sell and noticed a Msi GTX 1080 Ti Duke 11GB for $475 used.
all I really play is gta5 and Destiny 2, kids play fornite.
Or should I wait for the new RTX cards to be released?

buying 2nd hand graphics card is kinda risky imo, especially it's a year 2017 card, the warranty is gonna expire soon (if the seller never mod anything on the motherboard and the warranty is still covered)

Appreciate the response. I think I will wait..I Was having a hard time deciding to buy something used for that much money.
My rig has been acting up since update through Dragon center and has not performed as well since originally putting it together, thought maybe a gpu would help.

Note that a GTX 1080Ti is two generations back and therefor much outdated. A 2070 Super which is on the same level can be bought new for almost the same price. Soon even that one is blown away by RTX 3070 prices will fall even more.
