Upgrade the vBIOS of GE76 Raider and release the extreme performance

The whole new level of extreme performance
Although MSI designed the new enthusiastic gaming laptops with the highest possible TGP of the standard design guide. But that’s not the end of providing the best gaming experience to all gamers. Thanks to the excellent design by MSI R&D team, the CoolerBoost 5 can provide more thermal capability to further increase the max TGP. After many cautious tests, we are proudly to release the new vBIOS of GE76 Raider series for the extreme performance. As you can see in the following table, the current max TGP of GE76 Raider 11UH was 155W, which was already higher than NVIDIA recommended. With the new vBIOS, the max TGP of GE76 Raider 11UH can reach 165W which include 150W TGP and 15W Dynamic Boost. Yes! 165W!!!

How to update the vBIOS
All you have to do is download the new vBIOS from the official website of each product in the “Firmware” tab in support webpage by clicking the download icon.

Then unzip the file and right click the execute file and choose “Run as administrator”.

Enter "Y" to confirm the update when the command windows popped up

You will see the application try to check the firmware version suitable or not to your gaming laptop. Enter “Y” again when everything is ready.

After rebooting the system as instructed. Now the new vBIOS is enabled, you could start to enjoy more performance, which only MSI can deliver.

With the new vBIOS, you could now enjoy the extreme performance of your gaming laptop with the AC adapter plugged when you enable the extreme performance mode in the “User Scenario” of MSI Center. By the way, MSI also provide new vBIOS for GE66 Raider and GP66 Leopard to deliver higher max TGP capability.
Remember to download the correct vBIOS for your gaming laptop in the following list.

Will this also work for the 10UH? I bought mine only two months ago, one of the last ones before the 11UH came out. It *should* be just about the same except for the cpu. Will it??

Wow what about the i7 10750h/2080.super Max q GE66's?This machine has barely hit over 60c...Even with the most gpu intensive games at 100% utilization it still hangs around 55c..This is without cooler boost,just a custom curve in silent option...If I let cooler boost run it would probably stay under 50c..

It looks like maybe MSI wants to try and make people think the newer model is faster in graphics than the older because it’s better. It’s not, it only has a higher TGP vBios.
I hope I’m wrong and that MSI will give this kind of support to the GE76 10UH owners too. I’d like to become a permanent MSI supporter as I do love the GE76, but if I’m left out in the cold so soon after I bought it it will be hard to justify.

Its my Last MSI if MSI cheats clients, bying a 4000 Euro Notebook with the same GFX Card just a few weeks ago!

Yeah, the Alienware also has 165W and that’s thinner and has far worse cooling!

Actually, the TGP of 3070 seems already reach the maximum TGP + 15 W Dynamic Boost.

I'd love to do this, but the GE76 Dragon Tiamat 11UH I pre-ordered 11 May, (at that time expected delivery was mid-June) is now expected mid to late August.... Same with the GE76 Raider 11UG...

There is a vbios for other twon10UG model. Is It compatible and increases tdp too?
