Vector 16 HX A14VHG Memory replacement

Hi,
A base memory 2 x 8GB DDR5… can I take both of these out and replace with a single 32GB DDR5 (any particular slot to use?) or do I need to put in 2 x 16GB please? Any particular recommendation on which memory supplier to use at all? (UK based). Will the system automatically recognise the memory or is there something I need to change in Bios etc?

2x 16GB (32GB Total) DUAL CHANNEL kit always better for performance, best to use Samsung, SK Hynix, G.Skill, or Crucial (Micron).
CL46 DDR5 5600Mhz the best, but CL42 DDR5 5200Mhz, can work also.
