Versa Wireless MLG Edition stops working after idling

This mouse worked perfectly when I got it recently, but now suddenly is having an issue where it stops working after sitting idle for a short time. This issue happens in both wired and wireless. I've unplugged and plugged in the USB cable and the wireless dongle, uninstalled and reinstalled the default drivers. I've also reset the mouse multiple times and reset my PC as well, issues still persists. It's driving me crazy and I don't know what to do. I've tried researching online and still no luck.

Have you tried to use MSI Center to check if there's newer mouse firmware and dongle firmware update?
What is your current mouse firmware and dongle firmware version?
Have you tried with other USB port on your PC?

Mouse firmware is version 1.03. I can't find the firmware for the dongle. The mouse gets detected in wired mode and the button clicks work, but the cursor won't move. It wireless mode, nothing works. I tried multiple USB ports. MSI center is not giving me the option to update any firmware.
