VGA not working???

I'm new to this. I'm trying to set up a second monitor using vga, but it's not working? The cord is new, and is working fine (I tested it on my main monitor, and it picked up on the vga fine, but still didn't display my screen). My computer is a B460M PRO-VDH, and both my monitors are tv's, not proper pc monitors. I'm at a loss at what to do?? The only thing I can think of is that the display/hdmi ports that work for display are in a different spot than the VGA? I bought it pre-built and all I've done is install an additional hard drive
Edit: Nevermind, I gave up. Getting an hdmi-display port adapter instead

what is the graphics card model? At this point, i'm not sure whether you're talking about onboard or discrete VGA.
What is the prebuilt system and how many video port is on the back?
