I was just wondering if populating all 3 banks of the memory slots has decreased anyone else's 3D marks. I have all 3 slots populated with 256 DDR PC2100 with a CAS 2 setting in the BIOS. I have noticed a 1K decrease in my marks. I ran both 3D Mark build 300 and 330 and basicly got the same scores. I am also running BIOS 2.4 on the K7N420.

ok, I got to messing around and took the stick of 256 out of the 3rd memory slot. I benchmarked again and gained 1200 points on 3D Mark. Is there something to this????? I thought this problem was fixed.

It was my understanding that it had been addressed. Going by your scores it is not exactly as advertized.

I don'think it is as advertised. I tried eveything to get it to work. I took the third stick out and it worked fine. I was getting a little over 8200 with three sticks in. Took the third one out and scored a little over 9600. Guess I stay with 512 and 2 sticks for now.
