vpn dont change dns

Hi all! Please tell me, has anyone encountered the fact that DNS in a laptop does not change, even if you turn on vpn?
Laptop new 2022, windows 10.
On the old laptop with exactly the same settings - everything works fine.
Please tell me what could be wrong?
