I'm fairly new to the whole UEFI thing, as opposed to the old BIOS, but I simply cannot find an option to enable VT-x (Hardware Virtualisation) on this particular mainboard.  I have a P67A-G45 with an i5 2500k, and I just recently tried to install a 64-bit VM, only to have Virtualbox complain at me about not having VT-x enabled in my BIOS.

I simply can't find anywhere in the UEFI menu system to suggest where I might turn this on.  Surely VT-x is supported?  I know the processor definitely supports it.  I would have thought this would be a very standard thing by now, and I'd have even thought it would be enabled by default.

Does anyone have any idea how I might enable this capability?  If it's not possible, I'm appalled!

While your navigating the EUFI for the version in 'System Information', take a look in 'Overclocking' section, 'CPU Feature', & you should see VT. If you don't see it, then an update would be necessary.

Thanks HU16E - I completely missed that!  The 'CPU Feature' menu is just off the bottom of the page, and I didn't see the extra options there.

The overclocking section seems quite a strange place to hide it, though!  Nevertheless, many thanks for your help, very much appreciated.

Oh, and I'm running version 1.9, if it's of any interest ;)  Thanks guys.
